Not quite what I expected. It's more of a "Fall of Jean Grey" movie than a super hero movie.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it quite a bit.
The only real negative thing I have to say is the story at times was difficult to follow.

I'm a Stephen King fan, and a fan of the original. The new version does a great job of telling you the story in a slightly different way.

I saw SP in the theater and laughed! The 4k is good, but not great. By comparison, Toy Story (1 ,2 ,or 3), or Coco (which in my opinion is the best looking 4k I own) has much more vibrant colors in the foreground and background.
So yes, I'd recommend it, just know if you own a Pixar film it's not going to look as good as it.
