Flexible but a bit short

This dryer vent is standard but a bit thin; not sure how long it’ll hold up but I’m optimistic. I just wish it were a few inches longer to reach the window vent with more slack.

Sturdy hoses

These stainless steel hoses are much sturdier than the plastic/rubber ones that came with the washer/dryer. Same price as Lowe’s and Hone Depot too. The plumber was pleased.

Simplify laundry day chores with this 27-inch GE Spacemaker washer and dryer. Its compact size makes it suitable for smaller spaces, and it has six wash/rinse temperatures for achieving ideal results with multiple fabric types. This GE Spacemaker washer and dryer has cycle status lights for monitoring each load's progress.

Efficient and easy to run

The GE Unitized Spacemaker laundry stack fit perfectly into the space available, and runs quietly, with a single push-button start for both washer and dryer. Good options for different settings, too, so this really suits all my needs. I was surprised at how much it holds—from the outside, you’d never guess.

how do you get the filter out

When you take the cone off the motor, reach in and grasp the black plastic/rubber frame holding the filter, and wiggle it a bit—it’ll come out, and you can empty the filter and take it off to clean it. The first time, it doesn’t look like it’ll come out without breaking, but it does.

I just had this unit installed. When the washer is in the wash cycle, the agitator moves a little bit forward, pauses, moves forward, pauses, moves forward, etc...….and seems slow. It does not agitate back and forth. Is it supposed to work this way?

Mine does the same; I assumed it was the water fill auto-sensor testing out the size of the load. Checking on the manufacturer’s website, that’s exactly the case.
