Nice size screen for on dash viewing. Good features for driving when unsure of lanes for unfamiliar exits. Quick recalculating of route when detoured.
Only downsides are no instruction or "quickstart" booklet and compared to the larger GPS, showed less route options.

How does this GPS Unit find the maps and information, for an example does it use cell towers or a satellite signal.

shows onscreen "locating satellite" so I would say satellite.
