This is how you make a movie for nothing (nothing by comparison). Made for 30 million when it looks at least twice that. Great sci fi movie. Steelbook art is great. The 4K pops. Dolby Atmos is awesome. Worth it.

Donnie Darko. Sounds like a superhero’s name. This movie is top notch. There was nothing quite like it before and there hasn’t been a movie like this since. It was well deserved to get a 4K release and in Dolby Vision HDR no less. The film hasn’t looked better. You get both theatrical and directors cut. One of the few cuts that truly makes a difference. Both cuts are great.

Great show that was cancelled too soon. Still works pretty well as a stand alone story and doesn’t leave you on a massive cliffhanger. Good to have a DVD back but I came for the HD digital copy. Who knows? Bradley Cooper seems to really like the IP and it was the movie the that made him a leading man. Maybe a movie sequel that goes back to Mora’s perspective and has Jake McDorman and Jennifer Carpenter as supporting characters. Could be a trilogy of sorts.

Never really seen the Blu Rays, but just from picture quality they seem to be an upscaled 4k and not native 4K. Good trilogy with unfortunate pg -13 rating for the third movie. Hopefully the fourth gets made as they have been trying to get into production with a promise that it will be R. So not having seen the original Blu Rays I can’t say if it makes a huge difference, but if you don’t own the Blu Rays already this a great deal.

The only reason for not giving this 5 stars is the smart interface. it is slow and they really dropped the ball on Disney+.
The picture I could not be happier with, This TV is located in a bright room and we have none of the issues our last set did with reflections. The Picture is very crisp, colors pop!I have not noticed any blooming. Picture quality is on par with sets that a twice the price.

Let~s start with a quick round up. This is the best all-round TV. Hands down. Movies, gaming, sports... it~ll handle anything you can throw at it and look great doing it (try not to actually throw stuff, it~s just a figure of speech). No surprise when it~s got 4K resolution, Quantum Dot Color, Dolby Vision HDR, 120Hz native panel, Full Array Local Dimming Zones, anti-glare panel and powerful 1,500 nit peak brightness. What does all that mean? It~s like gazing at the sun melting into the Mediterranean Sea from Ibiza~s coolest bars. But sitting on your couch. At home. Then for gaming, we added Variable Refresh rate, Auto Low Latency Mode and FreeSync Premium to make the most of the latest generation gaming platforms. Even if you don~t know what half this stuff means, one look at the picture and you~ll want it.

The picture and sound alone deserves a 5 star rating. The reason for only 3 stars is due to both lack of and, limited use of Android apps to match the capability of the ULED TV. Specifically, an app available on my Samsung Android phone to watch TV through my cable/internet provider is no where to be found. This is true for many other Google Play Store apps.
The biggest, and unpleasant, surprise was the unavailability of UHD (4K) movies I have purchased on both MoviesAnywhere and, VUDU, which are limited to HDX (1080p) on this TV. MoviesAnywhere at least gives a link to find out why this is happening. Regardless of the reason, Hisense needs to get this fixed ASAP. Once they do, this rating will go up to the 5 stars it deserves.

Vudu and Movies Anywhere are not available in 4K HDR, but you can add a streaming device like Roku to fix that.
