Well worth rewatching this film in this format. Better than the theater. There was nothing mind-blowing with the HDR here, but that's okay. I have no doubt that this is the best home release of Gladiator available.

Once the 3000 series RTX cards become widely available, buying a 2070s might look pretty foolish. Still, it's a very competent card for almost any game. Don't count on hitting more than 60 fps in cyberpunk at 1440p with raytracing enabled, though.

As a massive display-tech nerd, I had to make the leap to OLED this year with prices at their lowest level yet. The only thing I was concerned about versus LCD was brightness, but I shouldn't have been concerned at all. It gets bright enough that my eyes can't even handle it. Watching movies at home and playing games has never been better.
If it's within your budget, go OLED.

I have found only one shortcoming with the PS5 (ignoring the lack of games currently and availability): Noise. When playing normally, there is a slight rasp coming from the system and when the disc drive really (but rarely) spins up, it is LOUD. Thankfully it doesn't seem to be a problem when watching normal Blu-Rays. I haven't gotten my hands on a 4k Blu-ray to test with.
