This crystal blue machine has a tilting head, so you can add ingredients and swap accessories in the middle of your recipe. The large bowl included with this KitchenAid Artisan 5-quart stand mixer holds enough batter to make over 100 cookies in a single batch.

I’ve dreamed of getting a KitchenAid mixer for so long, and the sale on this was so great, we couldn’t resist after our hand mixer died! Haven’t done any baking with it yet, but I did test it out on some mashed potatoes tonight using both the paddle and whip attachments, and it worked great. My old hand mixer would have struggled with potatoes and this thing just tore through them no problem. It’s so solid and sturdy! The 5 qt bowl is as big as I’ll ever need. Super easy to use. Can’t wait to make some goodies with it for the holidays!
The Crystal Blue color happened to be the one on sale, so we got it despite it not looking all that nice in the pictures. But actually in person, it’s gorgeous! Such a beautiful addition to my kitchen.
One other note- if you plan to keep this on the counter and have lower cabinets, you may want to measure just to make sure it will fit. It just barely fits under mine. It’s a heavy beast and I don’t think I’d use it as often if I had to lug it out from a lower cabinet.
