I haven't played COD for a while but gave this a shot. For the first 15 min, I was thinking... Ok, this is pretty good. Then machetes started falling from the sky and the boss was phasing in and out... Wut?

I'm extremely disappointed that the PS5 Pro didn't come with a disc drive, forcing me to shell out extra cash for this separate accessory. The drive itself works fine, but it's frustrating that it wasn't included in the initial purchase. It feels like a money grab, especially considering the premium price of the Pro console. If you're looking for a disc drive for your PS5 Pro, this is the one you need, but be prepared for the added expense.

In this reimagining of the classic monster franchise, director Roland Emmerich takes a fresh approach to the iconic creature. The film follows the chaos that ensues when a giant mutated lizard, affectionately nicknamed "Zilla" by fans, wreaks havoc on New York City.
One of the standout aspects of the movie is its impressive special effects. The CGI used to bring Godzilla to life is truly remarkable, especially considering the time when the film was made. The creature's size and scale are awe-inspiring, and the destruction it causes is visually stunning.
The action sequences in Godzilla are fast-paced and exhilarating. From the thrilling chase scenes through the streets of New York to the intense battles between the military and the monster, the film keeps you on the edge of your seat. The sheer scale of the destruction caused by Godzilla is mind-boggling, and it's a spectacle to behold.
While the film received some criticism for deviating from the traditional Godzilla mythology, it's important to approach it as a standalone monster movie. If you can set aside expectations and enjoy it for what it is, you'll find a thrilling and entertaining experience.
The cast of Godzilla is also worth mentioning. Matthew Broderick delivers a solid performance as the scientist caught in the middle of the chaos, and Jean Reno brings a level of intensity to his role as a French secret agent. The chemistry between the characters adds depth to the story and keeps you invested in their journey.
Overall, Godzilla (1998) is a fun and action-packed monster movie that offers a fresh take on the iconic creature. The impressive special effects, thrilling action sequences, and solid performances make it an enjoyable watch. Just remember to approach it with an open mind and embrace it as its own unique interpretation of the Godzilla story.

Between latency issues, selective Bluetooth support, and the inability to stream content from services like Netflix, Hulu and YouTube due to DRM rules, the Portal just couldn’t deliver an enjoyable experience or one I’d feel comfortable recommending.

Most disappointing COD I’ve played in my life and I’ve played every single COD since original mw2. I’m already sick of it after 10ish days of playing. Here’s my biggest issues (I’ll mention positives at the end):
1. Skill based matchmaking in quick play just makes it so much less fun. I find myself leaving so many games now from rage quitting because I’m playing the sweatiest guys when I’m just tryna go have some fun (would love to see statistics of how much more often people rage quit now than old CODs). It actually makes the game depressing and I get very little joy from playing it. Ranked play should be for skill based matchmaking, leave quick play out of it. I miss the Bo2 days when I’d see split screeners in my lobby. I miss being able to drop high kill streaks. Now I find it way too challenging to even get an 8 kill streak Overwatch helo. And the opposing narrative to this is that I just have to “get better”. If I get better, I’m gonna get matched up against even better players. MW3’s goal is to keep me at a 1.00 K/D ratio. I used to have a 2.2 KD on cod ww2 and I’d play that game for hours on end but on mw3 I find myself wanting to quit playing every 30-60 minutes.
2. LACK OF GAME MODES! Three of my favourites in recent years are Headquarters, Cyber Attack (great for 6-mans since you can revive), and demolition. None of these modes are in MW3, they really only offer 7 different game mode variations in quick play which is such a huge step back from the cod I’ve always known and loved. What reason is there, if any, to remove these fun objective based gamemodes??? PLEASE!!!! ADD THESE THREE GAME MODES!!!!! I’m sick of hardpoint and domination.
3. Price. It’s just not worth it for what I paid. Old CODs used to feel like a completely new game, completely new style and unique features. Remember that incredible feeling of booting up the brand new COD the day it came out? You WILL NOT get that feeling with MW3. I would get addicted for months on old cods. The only unique feature of new MW3 is the daily challenges and zombies. The entire game feels the exact same as the previous two MW’s apart from new maps that are all literal copies of original mw2. Not to mention the battle pass is expensive, and they even try to sell “Black Cell” for $40 CAD extra on top of the battle pass. That is just absurd. Honestly I’m getting sick of this game already and I’ve only had it for like 10 days.
Positives: - maps are cool and nostalgic - graphics are great - I like how they made zombies new and unique, it’s actually pretty fun. I do wish they found a way to include more of old zombies in it though as I don’t like how every game ends after an hour.

Scarface is a motion picture classic that explores the life of Tony Montana, played by Al Pacino, after his migration from Cuba to the United States.
Fueled by the idea that the American Dream can be achieved through hard work, Montana, an ex-military member and former convict, chooses to build his wealth through drug trafficking after joining a crime organization doing business in the streets of 1980s Miami.
The film explores the mentality and behavior of a man filled with ambition yet blinded by his own arrogance. Director Brian De Palma and screenwriter Oliver Stone expand Al Pacino’s character by including elements of his Latin American culture in the storyline.
Scarface succeeds in its portrayal of the main character. When you have a story about a character like Tony Montana, the director can’t simply show a person going from civilian to drug lord based on opportunity alone. De Palma slowly peels off the various layers of Tony’s personality, including his predisposition to crime and his lack of trust in anyone who isn’t himself, as he builds his criminal empire.
When you watch the movie, you notice two narratives: when Tony is new to the world of trafficking and is earning the respect of his bosses and competitors, and when his paranoia erodes at his success, driving everything he ever loved to a breaking point.
Another aspect that enhances the movie is when the director challenges the viewer by asking questions, such as, “Do we need people like Tony Montana to play the bad guy in the real world for us to feel comfortable with our lives?”
A scene that raises that question occurs when Tony is dining with his wife, Elvira. The dinner slowly becomes aggressive as the couple starts expressing their deep-seated resentment toward each other. After Elvira storms out of the restaurant, leaving an inebriated Tony to be judged by the other customers, he rips off a classic monologue (Say goodnight to the bad Guy).
Stepping away from the story and characters, the setting of 1980s Miami becomes a big part of the story, especially for locals who can still walk the same streets as Tony.
They can visit the same motel where Tony’s first drug deal took place and where one of his sidekicks is gutted with a chainsaw. Although the movie is fictional, the setting serves the story so well it makes you believe Tony Montana was an actual part of American history.
In addition to Pacino, Scarface is full of great performances. Michelle Pfeiffer, who plays Elvira Hancock, Tony’s wife, and Steven Bauer, who plays Manolo “Manny” Ribera, Tony’s best friend, add substance. They provided insight into Tony’s personality, showing how his narcissism and “male chauvinism” as it collides with the rest of the world.

This is one of those classic films that I had heard about for years, but had never seen. Recently I came across it on DVD. I really enjoyed this film. In some ways it reminded me of my teenage years. The film is set in 1962. A group of friends spending their last night out together cruising around the town before going on to face the real world. The best part of the film for me was the music and the cars. George Lucas did a great job directing this film and chose a great cast of characters. Pretty much all the actors are very familiar to all of us now. This is another one of those films you are glad you watched.
