Our First Smart Doorbell - Sensitive, Privacy Concerns
We really like our Ring doorbell. The golden brown, brushed metal look matches perfectly with our exterior house paint and fixtures. It was a little more expensive compared to the Black Friday price ($69.99 versus $60) but we got free shipping - and it was delivered in 3 days so that was awesome. It also has a battery and that worked well when we had a power outage recently. I just happened to replace the doorbell with a 16 VAC, 100 VA transformer and that was a good call because I think this model of doorbell requires 40 VA minimum (I think the transformer we had was something like 16 VA). We had thin moulding around our cheap door so we had to add a wider (2.25) wooden backer first, and we added a few washers on one side to tilt it in the direction of the porch. Not that crazy about the app as it requires your address and personal info to set up a Ring account, which is concerning especially in this day and age. At least one setting (output volume of the Ring, like when you talk to a person at the door) is a little confusing to get to but not bad. The volume and video quality is great (you need to use the Ring app to set up the doorbell first and utilise the wimpy USB cable to connect to it directly). Overall, very satisifed and would recommend. Very happy with B&H with the pricing, delivery and overall website, too. Will be shopping here in the future for sure

One of the greatest street gangs movie

Classic. I love the scene with Swan and Mercy on the train near the end and they see the middle class kids with their prom dates who seem to look down on them with both fear and prejudice - Mercy goes to straighten her messed hair to improve her image and Swan grabs her hand as if to say ‘dont you dare change who you are, not for them’. A true classic moment of cinema and easily the best scene in an already legendary film. Walter Hill never directed another movie that was anywhere near as great as this. The theatrical cut is still superior to the director’s cut as the comic book panels detract from the atmosphere and sure, some of the acting is a bit dodgy and the dialogue is a bit naff in places but this movie has energy to burn. Lets get to it, boppers.

I am a huge fan of Need for speed since NFS carbon, and I gotta say this game is fantastic. From the in-depth customization to the intense cop chases, this game feels like its found its identity. We had a very weird period of NFS games that were trying to do something different. Titles like hot pursuit, nfs shift, rivals and the run tried to make the franchise into something different but did not stay consistent. Need for speed 2015 and heat was great but had handling issues that detracted from the gameplay, and let's not talk about how poor NFS payback did with its loot boxes. I was very skeptical with this NFS, I heard criterion was helping the development of this game and I immediately thought it was gonna be another hot pursuit or rivals. But seeing the trailer and watching people play it gave me a NFS carbon vibe, especially when they give you 3 cars (muscle, tuner, or exotic) to choose from.
So here are my pros:
-multiplayer is fun, and it gives you a reason to race people to build your garage and upgrade your car
-the story is interesting, not oscar worthy but not boring.
-Customization is good, just like NFS Heat
-cars handle great, each car handles differently from each others which gives the game a more strategic approach
-chicago setting is beautiful and engaging
-graphics are beautiful
-cars sound great

Allowing this game to exist on the market for a year, I decided to take the plunge and get the updated trilogy. I knew this game was broken when it came out, to the point where the reviews were highly critical. I played GTA III from this trilogy last year on PC when it first came out, which I couldn't get on with it so I discontinued playing. However, I gave it a year to see if the gameplay had improved on the PS4 version. Which all I can say is that it hasn't improved enough, it's actually worth the current price of £20.98 and not a penny more. But if anyone says it "takes them back" or they feel "nostalgia" playing this game, you instantly know they're not truly fans of the original releases. Nothing takes them back, the first released build of the "definitive" trilogy was broken and they had to make their game playable and even at this point a year later it's still not 100%, but it's playable to a not very enjoyable nature. I would rather play the PS2 versions of these games, because quite honestly where I love Rockstar Games, this one is terrible and I think they need some honest game testers.

One of the greatest Christmas movies ever

5/5 stars! The movie elf is what I believe to be the best Christmas movie out there. It is pg and great to watch with your family. This hilarious movie really puts you into the holiday spirit. I really don’t understand how people dislike this movie, I have probably seen this movie 2000 times.
One thing I love about this movie is the comedy. The movie keeps you smiling through it. With Will Ferrell starring as a buddy, the main character there is no way that you don’t chuckle or let out a quick breath of air out of your nose at least once. You can’t really get bored during this movie. The action and the comedy mixed together make it perfect. Will did a great job portraying a clueless, child-like, elf, who finds out he’s human.
Another thing I loved about this movie was the ending. Buddy’s biological father was mean throughout the whole movie, until the end. Everyone sang and brought their Christmas spirit together to save Christmas. Buddy’s dad realizes that buddy means so much to him and that he needs to be there. This was truly a great ending and was very sweet.
I really don’t have any negatives about this movie there is some adult humor but it's really no big deal. I highly recommend you snuggle up with your family and watch this lovely film together on Christmas eve.

Surperior than the original

I am highly critical of acting, screenwriting, scene transitions, cinematography, special effects, music, and directing. I watch movies for entertainment, and well, to critic. There have been few movies which I call great or amazing. That's how critical I am of films.
However, after I watched it, here are my thoughts:
I wish there was a way for me to give this movie 10 STARS.
I was almost in tears watching it and thinking "This is the best movie I've EVER seen."
Let me put this into perspective. I have seen the original 1986 Top Gun a few times throughout my life and LOVE it. The 1986 Top Gun is an incredible film and will be re-watched even today and loved over and over again. Top Gun 1986 has excellent writing, excellent screenplay, excellent acting, and nonstop suspense and drama!
In other words, I LOVE Top Gun 1986.
However, I somehow love Top Gun Maverick EVEN MORE.
Tom Cruise did a phenomenal job, and I could see his hand throughout the whole movie. He does things to a superior and unmatched level. What blew me away most in this movie was how REAL it was. The footage of the aircraft carrier, the footage of the birds (F18's and other aircraft), the realistic plot and storyline, the emotion and relationships, the unpredictability, and the humor and drama. Every element was REAL.
Every bit of Top Gun Maverick is realistic, moving, and thrilling! I went back and forth from the edge of my seat, to nearly crying from emotion-evoking scenes, to gut laughing along with the entire theater; all of these things I did MULTIPLE times. I loved all the humor and comedy, which was so expertly written into the screenplay and then wonderfully executed through prestigious acting.
I LOVED the entire cast. There was a fantastic balance of dominating and quiet personalities, big egos and humility, hotshots and not-so-confident pilots, and hotties and geeks. Nothing was overdone, not even the humor or drama. I loved the balance between friendship, drama, growing closer as a team, resolution of conflicts, and support to family and healthy relationships. Every cast member was special, unique, and added beautifully to the balance of the characters.
I seriously cannot find fault with this movie. Every element was well thought out, down to the music, the camera panning, the scene transitions, the lengths of the scenes, every word in the script, and the incredible footage of the birds (aka aircraft) from the air.
If I had a chance to say one sentence to Tom Cruise, I would say this: "Maverick is the most phenomenal film I've ever seen; thank you for making it the most unforgettable, moving, and thrilling motion picture ever to set foot in movie theaters.

XIII is the remake of the iconic action game played in first person view initially released in 2003. You play as ~XIII~, a man with no identity, in a single player campaign full of twists and turns. Inspired by the eponymous comic book, the game features a unique cel-shading design entirely reinvented. Better than the original remake

XIII (2022) is far, far more stable at launch than the title of the same name in 2020. During our playthrough, we encountered no bugs, the main character didn't spontaneously fall out of the world, nor did we come across any instances where our progress was halted
