Stick with name brand...

It's been my experience in the past to stick with name brand printer ink. Not much to say about this product. One tip; change your printer settings to gray/scale and lower print quality to save on ink. I do this for rough drafts and anything that I plan on throwing out or has low importance.

Great Scanner! Love Epson

I was entrusted with family historian duties over Thanksgiving. This is just one of three scanners that I ended up purchasing. I chose the Epson flatbed because it allowed me to scan oversized documents and photographs. The goal is to make everything digital as far as anything, related to ancestry or family tree stuff. 1200 dpi scans do take long. Can't beat the quality for the price. It also has a unique feature of being able to scan 35mm negatives. It's time consuming, but it can be done!
