The dishwasher is operating so this kit is doing its job. There are some issues with the door control panel but we have figured out a workaround to manage it. That problem is likely due to the dishwasher, not the installation kit. The machine, once we get it going, cleans adequately.

We'll deliver, install and make sure your new dishwasher is working. If required by the manufacturer, we'll secure the unit to cabinet sides or countertop. Additional charges may apply if not up to local codes or requirements.

The installation team arrived on time and got to work quickly. The lead member of the two-person installation team grumbled as he worked. When the installation was finished he informed me that "an O-ring under the kitchen sink had broken" in the process of installation but he was not able or authorized to fix it since it called for a plumber. (We then proceeded to hire a private plumber to come repair the leak that was caused during the dishwasher installation). The team hauled away the old dishwasher efficiently. The second man on the team was very personable. Past appliance installations by Best Buy have always been excellent; this was the exception.

We bought this during the pandemic but were not able to see the model before purchase. I was surprised to see the extent to which plastic is used in this machine. It is often a challenge to get the front-of-the-door controls to start a wash cycle, but we have learned how to jiggle the clamp inside to get it going. The installer also broke an O-ring washer under the sink in the process of installing it but said he could not repair/replace it, so we paid a private plumber $100 to do it for us. All other appliances and installations from Best Buy have been excellent in the past; this, however, was disappointing.

This dryer cord is required for successful hook-up of your new appliance. Our delivery personnel will determine whether a 3- or 4-prong cord is needed based on the outlet behind your existing dryer.

We used Haul Away, too, and they were excellent at taking the old appliances with ease and without complaint, loading them in the truck and relieving us of having to do it ourselves.
