Great Audio quality, minor usability limitations

For the price these are pretty good but there are a couple major drawbacks you should know about. They do sound great though and if you need 3.5 in for a lav, these are the most recent DJI mics that can do that. 1. The transmitters are heavy and sag clothing, so they need to be mounted somewhere solid 2. The battery lift is about half what the new Mic 3 does real-world.

Exceptional, huge upgrade over prior models

The batteries last an insanely long time, the mic quality is great, and the options will grow with you. Timecode, 32 bit float, their tiny size, are all huge plusses. They work even in 20*f, I had them recording for nearly 4 hours straight with zero issues. One of my interview subjects dropped their mic into snow, picked it up, and kept using it with zero issues.
Two minor drawbacks:
No 3.5mm like the prior model had

Purchased as a christmas gift and the recipient is really happy with it, I put a screen protector and case on it and it still feels as thin as the older ipads did with nothing on them. It's quite fast/snappy, battery lasts a long time, and the recipient said it runs all their apps, even the ones that never quite ran right on their prior model. The silder is a great finish.

Decent Value, some concerns with SONY QC this time

Overall, the camera is solid. I previously had an a7iii, from which this is a huge step up. The unit I received had 3 dead LCD pixels (stuck green), which is unfortunate for SONY quality control, but not best buy's fault. 33mp photos look great, and you have great video codecs of 4k60 XAVC S-I, but for video the sensor readout speed is pretty atrocious (nearly 30ms), so any handheld or whipping will look sloppy and jello-like. The sensitivity is also not great, especially if you are shooting in LOG and need to overexpose. The EVF is nice, locking mode switch, top dial, and flip screen are all great. *FD: I returned this unit because of the defect, and best buy handled that properly, so I gave 4 stars.*

What’s the differences between the DJI Mic 2 bundle and the DJI Mic 3?
The differences are that the mic 3 is smaller in every way, the units and the case are more compact, but they are lighter, longer lasting, and generally improved. They dont sag shirts as much and they have 4x the internal storage for your 32-bit float recordings.
The only thing you really lose is the 3.5mm mic input.
