A Little Corny But Mostly Fun!

Colorful, fun, amazing visuals & choreography. If you enjoyed the energy and contemporary style of Hamilton you will probably like this... the 4K HDR presentation is more than pleasing and Atmos track is very thrilling fully engaging you in the music and immersing you in action. Some of the acting and screen writing is a little corny coming off as very liberally PC fairy tale but it’s a musical so what do you expect, right?

Crappy Plot, Great Visuals and Sound

The plot sucks, the acting is sub par, but the action is pretty good and the Atmos is great. This movie is unique in that it’s shot in 60fps which means 60 frames per second rather than the normal 24 frames. The smoothness of action and clarity of detail in the movie is like nothing you’ve ever seen, the action is great, and the Atmos is immersive... nevertheless the acting and plot us just not believable. I would recommend renting it unless you want novelty of owning a movie in 60fps as it is very unique.

This movie is deliciously disturbing... Joaquin Phoenix is absolutely captivating as a mentally damaged clown. Amazing HDR and Atmos that will thrill you with subtlety, nuance, and drama.
This is not a feel good movie if you couldn’t tell from the sad clown on cover but it’s somewhat thought provoking and entertaining. Can serve as a Joker origin story but also a drama as well.

This movie is suspiciously clean... most of the grain has been cleaned away using DNR if you like that “classic” movie feel you may be upset, this IS NOT a classic movie it’s an action film!!!
Sure some of the CGI is a bit dated, like a lot!!! But overall I was pleased most everything had a shiny new veneer and the Atmos soundtrack was kick a**. This is a 1990’s action movie man.

This movie has stunning CGI visual special effects and the HDR grade is good... the 4K detail was not as impressive and Atmos was modest but helped build tension in the film.
The story was thrilling and leaves you with an “uneasy feeling” at end. But I’m not sure how much repeat value this movie has overall... it would be a good rental not essential to own.
For $10 it might be worth buying but no more.

For the price this player performs fairly well... the HDR Optimizer is a must have feature but the build quality is terrible and controller is tiny and not backlit. This player is a bit flimsy and noisy for the price but performs well as a 4K player and can maximize HDR tone mapping. This player will not support audiophile formats such as DVD-A/SACD it may do Blu-Ray Audio.

I have an older Panasonic compact Audio System SG-HM 22 but the compact disc player is broken will this compact disc player be compatible to work with the other components? the tapes, turntable and radio works.
Probably not... this player only has HDMI outputs unless you can find some kind of converter for your RCA cables. This is good 4K Player but probably not the best for CD’s but it can work if you have HDMI input on your receiver there is audio only output as well as an audio/video output on this player.
