Nice hoverboard but beware fire hazard

It's sleek, fun, and works well. However, the first time we plugged it in to charge it, the charging adapter smoked, causing us concern it could catch fire. We returned it and bought another brand instead and have not had the same problem.

Great washer, beware of buying floor models

This is an excellent washer, at the top of most lists such as Consumer Reports. We got the floor model, which was in almost pristine condition, and saved some money. Beware buying floor models, though, as the Best Buy people who load them onto the truck do not pack them well at all. The item arrived at our house with several dents and scratches that weren't there when we bought it. All the customer service person would do for me is knock off another $100, which was disappointing. Functionally, I love the washer and especially enjoy the little tune it plays when a load is done. The interface with the app is useful too.

Nice kit, overpriced

The Best Buy crew who installed this didn't know what they were doing, and they insisted on putting on the 90 degree elbow even though the hole for the vent hose was directly behind the dryer with no need to turn. The kit itself is well made, but the guys who installed it didn't even use the hose clamps, so it falls off. I recommend saving yourself money and buying this at a hardware store instead of Best Buy.

This dryer cord is required for successful hook-up of your new appliance. Our delivery personnel will determine whether a 3- or 4-prong cord is needed based on the outlet behind your existing dryer.

The cord works fine. It costs about twice as much as one you could pick up at a hardware store. If you bundle this with the washer/dryer installation service like I did, they try to make you think it's a good deal because the full retail prices Best Buy charges for its washer/dryer related hardware add up to about $75, so the $100 installation price ($25 labor) seems like a bargain, but in reality, you could buy the part you need from a hardware store for about $40 and do it yourself with the same result.

Poor installation service, don't waste your money

The crew who installed our washer and dryer were horrible. First they banged their tools around, scratching up the units. They took out the washer locking pins before brining the unit down the stairs, which made me worry they would damage it internally (but it seemed okay in the end). The installation itself was really messy with twisted cables and hoses that I had to fix later. They did not use teflon tape on any of the connections either. For the dryer, they put a really long extension vent hose and 90 degree elbow even though the hole is immediately behind the unit bout 6 inches away; plus they didn't even put a hose clamp on it, so it fell off. The installation was definitely a waste of a $100. If I could do it over, I would have just had them drop off the units in the basement and do it myself.
