I have been in contact with Best Buy regarding a flooding incident that took place in my home after paying for delivery and installation of a washer. The incident took place on January 31, 2025. I have received the insurance adjuster's estimate andhave some startling concerns. The policy held by the delivery company is not sufficient to cover the damages in my home. Not only does the policy fail to cover the replacement value of the incurred damages, the adjuster is failing to provide reasonable compensation to cover damages so that my home can have a smooth cohesive appearance.
As a renowned business, I am shocked to find that Best Buy would align with a company without ensuring they have reasonable insurance coverage. I have always had steller experiences and that's what has ensured I continue to return. Unfortunately, after the way this catastrophe has been handled, my faith is wavering. When I purchased with Best Buy it was with the thought I was purchasing with a stand up company that I could trust in my home. I had no idea Best Buy would send a second rate moving company with terrible reviews that would destroy my home and leave me to suffer the consequences
