Nice washer but there was a defect with the door seal right out of the box. The seal on the door was allowing water to pour right out of the right side. Upon inspection of the seal I realized it was improperly secured. While removing the screw that attached it to the frame I realized the person who assembled the washer cross threaded the screws

The design of the vent only allows the dryer to be positioned very specifically. In my case it meant moving the dryer over almost a foot from the wall and losing a bunch of space in an already tight area.

I want more

The Geek Squad didnt connect my steam function on my dryer because the supplied components from the manufacturer arent sufficient. I dont understand whats in the installation kit then. Also the Geek Squad told me it costs a hundred dollars to swap the door so its opens from the opposite side. They told me it was four screws and i literally had to disassemble the door to change the hinges. Also in the process broke the tabs of the plastic covers which are impossible to get out.

Its a dryer nothing special. Im not sure its worth almost $1,000 but it dries the clothes. Its really annoying when it sense the outside of the load is getting dry and shuts off. Then you have to open it and move everything around.

Not what I expected

I love the color and the Samsung name but thats where it stops. I had to google how to use this appliance to make it operate in an acceptable manner. I mean this is "smart" so it uses the least amount of water possible to complete a load. This usually creates a situation where the washer doesnt even fill high enough with water to cover the clothes. Im not an engineer but not sure how dry clothes on top of the load are getting clean. Lastly a regular load takes almost 2 hours from start to finish. This washer is not what i wanted. I would definitely recommend a side load version.
