I need this so I could my Sirus XM Radio. I bought a car kit for Sirus but it didn't come in clear. With this hooked to my car antenna I finally got to enjoy my Sirus XM Radio clearly once I got it installed but I had to wait 2 weeks once my order came in due to Covid.

Does this SXM FM direct Adaptor still need the SXM antenna connected to the Sirius radio?

I needed because I had yo much static and channel interference and once the Adaptor was hooked to car antenna I get my Sirus XM Radio clearly.

I have a 2001 corvette. Will this work for Sirius xm ro be installed on it?

yes I think it would work as I didn't have Sirus XM Radio in my 2017 Escspe when I bought it so I bought the kit at Best Buy and they installed it but I needed to order the FM ADOPTOR so I couldget it clearly. Now I enjoy my Sirus XM Radio with no interference or static. . I hope it work for you but ask a sales representative for their help before you buy.
