Came earlier than expected

Best Buy gives pretty much an all day range for delivery. The good thing is my delivery came first thing in the morning so I'm not wasting the day waiting around. The bad news is that Best Buy uses 3rd party delivery services which won't remove doors if you need to make a large delivery fit through the door. I had to remove the door myself and put it back. If you're a senior citizen or disabled, this would be a problem...

Wish I could keep using my old hoses

Best Buy adds the hose automatically to the total. There was noting wrong with my old hoses but this is part of the package. Unfortunately you have to pay for it and you can't opt out of it. Would be nice if they mentioned that. Nice hoses though.

We'll deliver, install and make sure your new washing machine is working. We'll level your washer, plug it in and attach the hoses. Additional charges may apply if not up to local codes or requirements.

3rd party delivery service

I had to get a replacement since the first machine I was delivered was defective. The delivery folks for the second delivery was a third party and not affiliated with Best Buy. The location of my washer is very tight and I informed them that they need to remove the door to my washer area in order for the washer to fit through the door. They said they could not do that because of liability reasons so I had to remove it myself. The original delivery folks I assume were from Best Buy Geek Squad and had no problems removing the door, installing and putting the door back.

Good price, works OK

The machine I was delivered was defective. It would sound like someone was hammering during the spin cycle and the washer would move about a foot from where it was located after every wash. I got an exchange from Best Buy within 2 weeks and it's been working the way it should and no longer making loud banging sounds or moving. I bought it based on price with comparable models. So far so good but was not happy with the defective machine I was originally delivered so 2 stars for quality & 4 stars for value.
