The PS5 DualSense controller is arguably the best standard controller ever made. The buttons & stick layout work perfectly, and the controller itself has a nice weight and balance. Adaptive triggers are an amazing feature, unmatched by their competitors. When supported by a game, it's one of the coolest new features of the current gen of consoles.
That said, battery life is an issue with these devices. It's a known issue and yet even new Sony DualSense controllers have the same battery as when the PS5 launched. Expect 6 to 10 hours of gameplay on a full charge. But that number will greatly diminish over time, to the point where my launch controller couldn't last a single hour. Of course, you can still play while charging, but they really ought to swap in a beefier battery.
If there's any other knock against the controller, it would be the price ($75 minimum), but that's not just a Sony problem - controllers across all gaming platforms spiked in price in this console generation.
If you can hold out until Black Friday or Sony Days of Play sales, like I did, the reduced price makes it worthwhile to upgrade, replace, or add to your collection.
This review is for the Starlight Blue PS5 DualSense. The color really pops, and my nieces love it.
Shifting color from every angle through iridescent shades of green, the Chroma Teal DualSense wireless controller is a fresh addition to the PlayStation 5 accessories range.

This review is for the "Chroma Teal" version, and it is gorgeous.

An easy way to add money to your Playstation wallet. It's also probably a safer way to keep funds on your account, as opposed to linking a credit card or bank account.

Ghost In The Shell is iconic, to say the least. It's right up there with "Akira", being the jumping off point for anime old-heads like myself. The visuals and sound are amazing, as expected. But the painted backgrounds are a visual feast for the discerning eye. I only recently found out there are sequels and TV series based off this IP - might have to check them out some day.

God of War Ragnarok is truly amazing! Yet another absolute banger from Santa Monica Studio and Sony Playstation. The PS5 visuals are top-notch, if not the best on any console game ever. Love the story and gameplay, too. Single-player games live on & live well on the Playstation platform. Also of note: there's now free story DLC, "Valhalla", adding to an already extensive story and world.

SO MANY SPIDEYS! Stylistically speaking, the animated Spidey movies might be the best looking superhero stuff out there. The visuals and sound are astounding, which comes as no surprise if you saw the first installment of the Spider-verse films. It's movies like this that keep me buying 4K blu-ray, as I love having the physical copy but really appreciate that digital code (included in this version). Simply put, I love this film and eagerly wait for the sequel.

For your dollar, this headset is truly hard to beat. It's often compared to the best headsets on the market, some of which cost 2 or 3 times as much. PS5's official headset is comfortable, even on my big head, with hours of usage and minimal ear discomfort. The 3D sound is amazing & Sony has upgraded its capabilities a few times with software updates. Chatting has been crystal clear & without echo or other audio issues. Of course, everyone is different, but if you do buy one remember to test your settings & audio profiles. It's relatively simple to use & can be used wirelessly (via USB dongle plugged into the PS5) or wired to the controller (dongle & cord included). Seriously - you could spend more if you're an audiophile that loves top-tier, but this headset gets you (practically) there at an awesome price point. And it being an official Sony product, I think provides an extra layer of value in the fact you know Sony will continue to support it for years to come (or they build a new/better model).

Many a countless nights were spent playing Civilization Revolution back on the PS3. Those online gaming sessions with friends lasted until dawn. But alas, I've grown older and work a "9 to 5", as do most of my gaming friends.
I've enjoyed the game so far. It's Civilization... on a console. It runs well enough, but isn't a graphical powerhouse - it looks like it could run on a PS3. The number of "Leaders" is huge (don't forget to download your bonus civs after installation). The game is deep, with a pretty steep learning curve. While the tutorial is helpful, true mastery only can come with practice and repeated playthroughs.
My complaints about the game are minimal. As i said, the tutorial is helpful, but only scratches the surface of what you can do. This was an issue with Civ Rev, too. Controls aren't as intuitive as they could be (switching between units could be made easier). The camera should zoom to your units getting attacked on other civs' turns, but maybe there's a setting for it. One last complaint: This weekend, Civ VI is $20 (physical copy) for the Nintendo Switch, although it released only 1 week prior to the PS4 version.
All in all, I'm happy to have Civilization on my PS4. Great strategy games are few and far between on consoles, and Civ VI scratches that itch quite weill. GIve it a go!
