Great TV to get all FREE programing!

It is 2024 and I just purchased my Insignia 32" LCD TV/Blu-ray DVD Combo, 180p from a friend who has had it safely stored in all original packaging for over 10 years. Like a time capsule. I purchased a sound bar, a free broadcast antenna and a fire stick to add to it. Now I connect thru xfinity wifi-now ($10/mo any 2 devices) and have all the TV, streaming & DVD entertainment. And the best thing is it has a real "old school" look. Thanks Best Buy for a great product!

Cheapest Quality TV solution

I enjoy my Insigna Fire TV w/Full HD. It was super easy to install. With $20/mo xfinity wifi, a window antenna from best buy and Amazon Prime, I get lots of free local broadcast stations and streaming apps. Cheapest quality solution I could find.

Do not buy open box/excellent

I bought an open box/excellent item and it should have come with all necessary parts; this item did not. The antenna was missing the double sided tape to attach it to the wall. Driving 100 mi r/t to Bestbuy store to get tape was not an option. I have the antenna attached with painters tape. The antenna only broadcasts signals within 35 miles. Sacramento is 50 miles away and therefore most signals are too weak especially at night.

Do Not buy Open Box/Excellent items

The Insignia Fire TV functions well. I purchased an open box/excellent and save a few dollars. Mistake! Although website said ALL necessary parts would be included, it was missing the 4 screws that attach the plastic feet. They are essential to keeping the TV from falling over. Customer service could not send me the screws or deduct any money ($20?) from price for the hassle/expense of me driving to H/W Store and finding/buying the right screws. Their solution was to unassemble/rebox the TV and take it to UPS Store and reorder and wait for another TV. Because I live 50mi from BestBuy, unassembling / reboxing TV and driving r/t to pickup 4 screws was not going to happen. I was very frustrated and unsatisfied. I ended up ordering a swivel pedistal stand on amazon.

I live in an apartment (large complex), will I be able to get a good signal reception?

I cannot get a signal when it's raining (cuts in an out every couple seconds and pixelated). Is this normal? It rains a lot so that will suck if I can't watch tv when it's raining bc that's when I need to stay inside! The antenna is next to the window.
I experience same problem; especially at night. I think its because the local signals are being broadcast from more than 35 miles away. This antenna is only rated for 35 miles. I finally decided to download the ABC free app & the TUBI free app (requires wifi so i ordered xfinity NOW wifi $20/mo). Both those apps provide free live local programming.

Does anyone know which kind of double sided tape came with the antenna? My antenna was not in a good place and I moved it. The tape did not remove any paint from the wall so I’d like to purchase the same type. Thank you.

Will the antenna pick up a signal through stucco siding?
I have concrete siding and it works but remember it only picks up strong signals within 35 miles regardless of siding material.
