Two installers, one was quite knowledgeable. On time. Friendly. First time installing a stacking kit on this brand, but did an accurate job. Cleaned up area afterward. Removed all packaging. So much easier letting professionals do these jobs. They have the right tools, muscle, experience, don’t get frustrated, etc., etc., etc.

Two installers, one was very experienced. First time he had experienced an Insignia stacking kit, but he read the directions and did a great job. Also, he was able to work around some “space problems” (extremely small niche for w/d) masterfully.

Guys had it in and old one out in less than 1/2 hour. However, it could be installed until two days later because the electrical cord (which is purchased separately) wasn’t included. VERY tight space, so I was pleased.

Have owned it a few months. Sometimes I get an Error Message and it won’t start…..on certain cycles. The Error Message requires calling for service. However, I discovered by unplugging it and/or tripping the main circuit breaker, the Error Message disappears. Note this washer uses 120 w. Matching dryer is 220 w.

Just as good as a ventless dryer! However, it does require some monthly maintenance—like the emptying of several filters (all reasonably accessible). Before you purchase, read the manual on “evaporative” water it produces. Much less hassle if you have a nearby drain. Quiet.
