The new battery attachment base made by Mission specifically for this speaker finally makes an echo speaker portable and cord free. Can place 2 in backyard for parties or pool/jacuzzi time and have whole house and cordless backyard echo speakers all playing the same music finally!! (Please note that the Mission battery base ($39.99) is needed for the echo speaker to be cordless and portable).
