Amazing machine

Our carpet is blasted. This has brought some areas back to life. Some areas are just hopeless. We have an Oreck machine but it is just worthless. The gunk this gets out of the carpet is revolting. I'm just wondering when it will stop extracting the muck and the carpet will be completely clean again. May never happen, may just be how things are with carpet that was let get this bad.
The machine is very large and heavy. Don't expect to be able to haul this thing up stairs easily. It arrived in a large box fully assembled. Once removed from the box, extend the handle to the upright position, remove the dirty water tank, remove the clean water tank, fill the clean water tank with hot water and solution if you desire (works amazingly with or without solution), put the tanks back on and get to work (vacuum first though). The dirt, grime, hair this thing pulled out of our carpet was disgusting. The water was black with grime, like gravel in the bottom of the tank. Once the carpet was dry in a few hours, vacuumed again to get the crud that collected from under the machine and the loosened dirt.
It takes a lot of work, but the results are worth it. Great thing is you can go rent one from Pet Smart to try it out yourself. With the amount of work it takes to use the machine, rental was not the best option for me so I just decided to buy it. Have no regrets in the least.

Ok, was this as awesome as Rouge One? Nope. But was it as bad over all as many have said? Not to me. Now, don't get me wrong, the entire Kessel run was a let down. But the story around Han and Chewy was a lot of fun. Now I need to go and re-watch the animated series due to the ending.

5 out of 5Great Radar Detector but Needs Some Fine Tuning

Great All-in-One radar detector. Impressive range and solid build quality. Includes awesome mag mount which will build the unit firmly in place on your windshield.
Escort Live is decent but the app needs more work to be considered reliable.
One issue, which is unknown if it can be fixed via a software update or not, is the detector’s sluggish reactivity to Instant-On Ka band. The older model Max 360C reacts better to quick trigger/IO than this latest flagship model for Escort. Hopefully this is not a hardware issue and a future update can address this - but don’t hold your breath when it comes to Escort and timely firmware updates/support.
Also arrows transition good but can be a little better. BSM filtering is very good, not great. You will get the occasional punch-through with some Honda’s and Mazda CX5s.
Note: you must enable K-NOTCH (default is disabled) to help reduce K band falsing. This is done through the radar detector menu settings and NOT through the Escort Live app because that option is not available to enable or disable.
You also get a nice zipper carrying case which includes a mag mount and a cigarette lighter power adapter. Make sure to register the product to receive 90 days of free Defender database updates (red light cameras alerts, speed cam alerts, user reported alerts, etc). After the trial period you have to purchase a subscription which is available in 1 year and 3 year options. Also I recommend to purchase the 2-year extended warranty (directly from Escort Radar) which gives you a total of 36 months of peace of mind in case anything were to go wrong. And with most electronics, something is bound to go wrong eventually, especially when the detectors are in the windshield and face extreme weather conditions sometimes.
Lastly this detector is RDD (radar detector detector) immune meaning that it is stealth in places where radar detectors are illegal to operate (Virginia, DC and commercial truck drivers).
The positives outweigh the negatives with this product but it still needs to be refined and fine-tuned. It is very expensive and most would say overpriced. Something to consider.

My understanding from Vortex Radar on that video sharing site is they updated the firmware to address the arrow sluggishness, not sure on instant on, but most likely addressed. Hope that helps.
