I have this and two other King Kongs, the 1933 and the 1976 versions. The first is, of course, a classic and the second, well, not so much. I really enjoyed the story of this version and the special FX were awesome! Yes, it is a bit long, but not at all boring. I got this Blu-ray as an update to the DVD and the picture was very good!

Really good Sci-Fi Action film!

Very good story, Very good special effects, very good acting! Don't read the books but I was very enthused by this movie. An old man looking through garbage piles for tech scraps to use finds the top part of a cyborg whose brain is still functioning, so he brings her to his place and gives her a replacement body. When she awakens, she doesn't remember her past. People are going missing and presumed used for replacement parts for fighting cyborgs in the big game. Naturally, the evil overlords want to control or destroy her but she has her own plans. Thoroughly entertaining work and fully re-watchable!

I mostly got this for going on vacation. I love my tablet but sometimes I want to do some PC work. I like to create widgets so I figured this would be OK. The 256 SSD drive boots fast but wifi is a bit slow. The screen is kind of funky, as it isn't ips, but it isn't too bad at the right angle. I do like the 7.3 inch screen size better than the 15.6 I had that died on the 31st day. Runs my Rainmeter and xWidget stuff fine! All in all this is a very good laptop so far!
