Verified Purchase:Yes
Didn't think the Blu-ray could be improved on, but I was wrong. I don't have the system to properly test the Atmos audio, but the picture was flawless on our OLED.
Mobile Submission: False

This Sony 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player also connects to your Wi-Fi for convenient video streaming.

(This is more of a general question) Can 4k players play all region Blu-Rays?

No, unless they have been modified to do so, ie unlocked

Can be used vertcally?

I don’t think so since the disc in the tray is loose.

If you have a Full screen DVD does this player upgrade the picture to Widescreen?

It won’t “upgrade”, but there are setup choices, in combination with your tv, that should allow you to zoom in making the picture look widescreen

I keep having intermittent problems with Dvd's freezing during play and during streaming as well. If it was just during streaming I would say it's my wifi. My wifi shouldn't affect Dvd play???

You’re right, but try disconnecting from WiFi to see if it helps. Also make sure you’re running the latest firmware. If those don’t help, I’d return it

This HP desktop computer has AMD Radeon Vega 8 integrated graphics for rendering detailed visuals when connected to an HD monitor.

Would this computer be good for gaming

Depends on how serious you are. It’s a good machine for the price, but you’d probably have to at least upgrade the video card to do serious gaming
