The One to Get if You’re Skipping This Gen

Title says it all. I already own a 3080 and decided on another build with a new case (Cooler Master XB Evo -Oldue but a goodie). Didn’t want to go through the whole new MB, RAM, PSU, case that fits, price ($1600) and supposedly high risk cable issues issues associated with the 4090. As you’ve probably seen for the GN crew, Jay and others, this is still in the top 3-5 in performance with the 4090. Even though the 4090 destroys this performance wise, I’m not in the competitive gaming scene, so anything over 60 fps in 4K is fine by me. Happy with the purchase and probably saved a $1,000.

Good If You Have Multiples

Pretty sure if you’re reading this review, you more than likely have Echo sound devices in your home. Here’s my 2 cents. Audio: mine sounds great, but others have complained about sound quality compared to previous generation of products. It seems to be hit or miss. The multiple echos sound feature is a nice bonus. Structure: At first glance it seems this thing could possibly gather dust pretty fast. Just something to consider. Price: For $20 it was a no brainer for me. However, the version with the built in clock is a life saver. I ended up giving this one to my son and got the clock version. This version is great for guest bedrooms, kitchen or anywhere you physically don’t have to see what time it is.

While this might be true, even a reduction of 2-5 degrees is great for peace of mind (and not all mobo nvme heat sink cooling slots are the same). Might get the copper Pro version at some point.

I'll Never Go Back to Inkjets Again!

You've read the reviews, so I won't bother with specifics. It does it's job delivering crisp, clean copies. This printer does automatic double sides, can print using your phone (with the Brother Mobile Connect App) and even works with Alexa. You can setup either wired or wirelessly. I hooked up mine wirelessly by using the WPS button on my router when prompted during software installation. If set, it will let you know when updates are available (via the touchscreen). From there you can update if desired. CONS: Genuine Brother cartridge is not cheap, but unless you print a lot of documents daily, the TN-760 should last you a very long time. No USB cable if you want to hook it up to your computer for wired connectivity. No true ouput tray. I don't print mass pages at a time, so I'm not sure it can hold 200-300 pages at one time without them falling to the floor. Doesn't come with a fax feeder. You can fax via the software installed, but you cannnot load it in a feeder. Power. This thing trips shut down my APC UPS 1500ms2. I had to plug it directly into my wall outlet and even then it trips for a slight second (shows 40 minutes from 121, but goes back to 121 and didn't shut my UPS down this time). This could be an issue to some, so when unboxing, keep everything neat and packaged in case this thing keeps shutting down your other devices and you need to return it for a more stable wattage output printer. I figured most would like to hear the cons to make a better judgement, so there they are. Overall I'm completely satisfied.

I also own the non usb version of this and was pleased with the results, so I decided to give this one a shot. Works like it should and the usb is a nice feature. Please note: I've had 2 power outages and compared both units (1500 non-usb and this one). Really was no difference in time until complete shutdown. Both showed around 2 hours while hooked up to tv, soundbar, subwoofer, router, modem and RING base station on. Satisfied with the product and will probably grab another one once it's on sale again below $200 and just hook it up to my modem and router.

UPDATE: You will need a 10 inch or lower circular cooking rack for this model. A 10.5 will not fit flush in this and my original 9 inch circular was too small. The 10.5 is about a quarter of an inch too large (and for some reason only on the left and right sides of the rack/pot. No biggie. I'm going to cut the rack on those sides a little to make it work.
