Awful refresh rate, blurry mess

Bought this Pioneer monitor for $100 on sale during Christmas. Purchased to replace a Samsung that was beginning to fail on the patio. I have several Roku streamers throughout the house so I’m very familiar with its OS. First off the refresh rate is awful on this TV. Watching NFL is nearly impossible, like the picture is a blurry smear. Second, Live TV seems to only connect to their streaming channels. Every time I want to watch over the air local stations I have to rescan the antenna, then there they are. Can’t find them the next time, really weird. If you like blurry sports this TV is for you. Sound is terrible but I assumed that going in, I use an external speaker on the patio.

Easy smart lighting. Add color to any room with a single smart bulb, which offers warm to cool white light as well as 16 million colors. Use Bluetooth for instant light control in one room, or connect to the Hue bridge (sold separately) to unlock the full set of smart lighting features.

PROS: these lights work great from the Phillips app. Lots of colors and variations can be done. They get just bright enough to light our rooms.
CONS:cost, these are so dang expensive. You do have to purchase the geek squad coverage as these are made to fail just when Phillips coverage ends.

Replaced our ancient pet hair Dyson with this model. I had no idea how much hair our old Dyson was missing. Crazy. So yeah, very pleased with the performance. The way it locks and unlocks out of its upright position takes a little getting use to. Seems kinda chinsey. Because of this design you must pick up and carry it on carpet when not in use. Loss of star because of this.

So... you want to take the gorgeous beautiful bass and uncompressed Highs of analog and convert them to tinny digital?! And then listen to it through a crappy little single driver Bluetooth Soup can speaker?!! Cringe... That’s the question I poised to my 70 year Mother In regards to her record collection dating back five decades. She answered yes...so this is what she got from us Christmas 2019. My limited review, it’s a light weight plastic turntable. It plays records, it plays them via Bluetooth. It does what it advertises. Ehhh. Oh and it can play them the way God intended, with an analog left and right rca cable...but why do that:-(

Huge fan of this album. Having only heard Hunky Dory digitally I always felt like the album sounded flat, the mix lacking punch. Which typically is no fault of the engineer but a result of the times/technology and/or limited recording tracks. Let me say this 180g vinyl really freshens this album up for me. Much looser, no compression. Long live analog!! Bowie really makes being Kookie cool. Such a fun album that can help you laugh, as well as cry at its brilliance. In the words of Trent Reznor during trying times,” Try not be so hard on yourself...and listen to Bowie”

Great TV for this price point

We like the first one we purchased from BB for the spare room so much we purchased a second Series 5 TCL 50”, this one for our bedroom. We really like the Roku OS and the seemingly endless apps Roku provides. The Dolby Vision looks great as well as HDR10, slight edge to the Dolby. Pretty decent sound for a TV at this price point as well. And the engineers at TCL are smart enough to allow the owner to turn the power button status light permanently off. That sucker is bright enough to guide a jetliner in. Time will tell how long it lasts but my money is on this TCL over some crappy over priced Samsung. I would suggest this Tv as a secondary to anyone. Go LG OLED as a primary though ;-)

Got this on cyber Monday for $200. Purchsed for while I brew in the garage. Decent 1080 picture, 4k looks good. Pretty limited on picture adjustments and have yet to find any available while in 4K. Sound from TV leaves something to be desired which isn’t a problem for me as I have tv audio running through garage 5.1 theater. Audio is running through optical cable as ARC isn’t an available option. Only two of the seven apps are anything I would use. Good thing I have a Roku. I’m pleased with the purchase though I wouldn’t spend much more than $200 for this set.

Does this TV have a true 120Hz refresh rate? it says 120Hz and google says its 120Hz but also says it may not be its native refresh rate. also in the description it says its refresh rate is 120Hz CMI which is 95% of the time double the actual refresh rate
