Apple products have yet to disappoint me and my family. With COVID, I needed a way for the kids to do school online. I initially started with iMacs, but quickly realized that the kids needed to be mobile, so I traded in their iMacs for MacBook Air laptops. While the screen is smaller, the kids enjoy the mobility much more and also like the lightweight nature of the Macs. Be sure you check the specs as I have found anything lower than an i5 Intel chip can be a bit slow--especially for classes like programming, 3D rendering, etc.
This MacBook Air was an excellent purchase and addition to my already deeply rooted Apple device family.

Awesome at-home monitoring

I had been using an older, non-sync version of Omron before but wanted something that automatically capture the results vs me manually entering them in and tracking. The EVOLV came with great reviews so I thought I would give it a try. After a couple of months, I am happy to say I made an excellent purchase. The readings are quick and it is easy to get the cuff on and off. I also like that if I take multiple readings that it sends them all to the app and not just the most recent one.
As I get up there in age, it is important to me to monitor my health and catch any bad things as quickly as possible. The EVOLV allows me to do just that and I like that it syncs to the same app as my weight and EKG devices. It also sync to Apple Health which is an added bonus since I had been tracking other items like weightlifting and cardio there already.

I've held off on Office 365 simply because I already had Office products and didn't need the cloud versions. But this came with my wife's iMac x-mas gift so it was kind of hard not to give it a try.
I've been extremely happy with Office 365 and the price I was able to set my family up with through this bundled offering. I also like being able to have the docs available from any device instead of having to lug my MBP around or implementing strange network sharing solutions.
Be sure you take things slow and understand what the installation and other instructions are saying. Otherwise, you can experience some issues if you try to rush things.
Like I said in the title, I was skeptical but now I am a fan.

I've been holding out for a long time on Apple TV. However, my entire household is Apple devices so I thought I'd go ahead and see if Apple TV live up to its hype.
At this point, I am very happy with the purchase. The main reason for my purchase was the ease of using it to project content from my iPhones/iPads to the TV. No need to purchase a smart TV trying to find AirPlay. No need to purchase additional HDMI cables.
That said, I am also enjoying the content Apple TV has to offer. Many of their original shows are actually very good but I do wish they offered more free content---I'm sure it is coming as stuff like this can take time to iron out contracts, etc.
Anyway, I would recommend the purchase due to the current state of the high quality content and technology inside the box. Great space saver as well (unlike my satellite box).
