Hate the amount of Data Arlo Uses...google data usage and you'll be shocked, I've never hit overages until I installed Arlo and that's with my wife working from home, kids on tech and gaming, and schooling...
If you want to save on data, the thing needs to be disarmed most of the time

-Cameras look and work great
-I have the solar panels and they seem to do the job although when it's cold, it says not charging so let's see how we do when it gets significantly colder.

-IT EATS UP DATA!!! I've never exceeded data usage on my internet and now I've spent an additional 100 for the month.

I need to play around with it but it seems like the only way to save is to put it on a schedule to arm/disarm. But kinda defeats the purpose of a camera.
So in it's current state, the system with everything cost me around 800 since I bought this, one doorbell and solar and with the increase in Data usage, the amount I would have saved on hardwire, would have been significantly better...
Just buy a Ring, Arlo, Nest doorbell and forget the cameras. IT WILL KILL YOUR DATA

So much more functionality than before! Easier to use the iPad having an integrated trackpad and with typing, it’s easy.
But once you add all the bells and whistles, just get me a MacBook Pro/Air
This is for my kid to use as it was a high school requirement (iPad) which ultimately was my hand me down to him. I hated not having keypad and mouse, etc...
Can’t figure out the transition as to why aside from weight. Due to limited functionality (I need explorer/windows) the MacBook fits my needs better
If you just need app based materials, word/pages/docs type stuff, safari, and of the likes, highly recommend the upgrade of your iPad with this.

But at the time the apple keyboard with the trackpad was not available.
We will probably end up upgrading to that one. This worked well, and allows the iPad to operate similar to a laptop, but just wasn't feeling it after seeing the new apple case and how it elevates the screen and has a trackpad.

Not sure, the batteries seem like typical AA batteries. I don't really time how long each lasts, but it seemed like a typical shelf life basic battery. I'd say Duracell may last longer, but again, I don't compare
These were needed in a pinch.
Case is reusable so that was nice. I use it when I reload at other retailers for batteries.
