An excellent movie based on fact but, of course, those facts are a bit stretched in the movie script. Nevertheless this movie is very entertaining and shows the early days of sports car racing, how intensely competitive these people were and how hard money was to find. The 4K video is excellent and the sound quality is outstanding with, depending on your system, Atmos, TrueHD, DTS-HD and Dolby Digital all available. This is a must for any race fans movie collection.

Perfect dawn-to-dusk switch!

Works perfect! The only thing I wish it has was plug-in wiring with screws to tighten them down. This comes with the wiring attached and then you have to use wire nuts which packs more stuff into the electrical box. Eventually it went it but it was a challenge. That said I bought this for my front lighting for my house and it lines up perfectly with dusk-to-dawn AND offers many options, including your own options for adding or subtracting time from the actual dawn/dusk times for your lights to turn on or off. I did not interface this to Alexa, because I want the Wemo app only to handle the front lighting. It's purely automatic and I don't need voice control. I have the app. ;-)

Klipsch says it all. The true keepers of the sound. I had a smaller center channel and then upgraded to this one. This expanded the immersment of my 9.2 system very unexpectedly. Yes, I did expect a fuller sound, which I, of course, did get, but it really widened the sound of the entire system and ended up being one of the best purchases I have made to complete my living room theater. I specifically chose this model for the front firing bass ports as I have it mounted too close to a wall for rear-firing ports to work properly.

I loved the original. Saw it as a kid. It was pretty scary then and still is now. I am not a fan of remakes and when I first watched this was skeptical, but this movie is very well done! And scary!
Tom and Dakota get high marks for the great acting in this. They really bring forward the angst of this alien invasion and truly bring home.
The 4K version is a great remaster in both video and sound. You will not be disappointed!

We recently received a Samsung HW-Q900T soundbar at a reduced price to purchase for our use and to review.
Installation was simple, straight-forward and with no issues. Instructions were very clear and direct. We installed using the HDMI-ARC method to ensure the best sound possible, but you can also use an optical cable or blue-tooth. This is connected to a Samsung Q80R series television, which utilizes 100% of this speaker’s features. Your mileage will vary depending on your television. This particular soundbar was the exact fit in width and height for the Q80R.
Now connected, I booted up the newly released and remastered version of Top Gun with both 4K video and Dolby Atmos audio. As soon as the into music started playing I was absolutely blown away. The music immersed the room with sound and soon the sounds of fighter jets were coming from all sides! The tones, including the bass were all set just right in the default mode. Very impressive! And this was only with the soundbar and sub-woofer. No rear speakers. The soundbar does support standard audio protocols along with the very popular Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. No matter the format, this soundbar has the ability to perform well.
This soundbar also supports Alexa and Bluetooth input from your devices and is equally impressive. The bass will not rattle your windows, but it is room-filling and is an excellent addition to our living-room based home theater. The soundbar also takes direct input from any HDMI device so you can even connect your Blu-ray player through the soundbar (recommended).
After two weeks of use I am still as impressed today as I was then. I have also connected my soundbar to my iPhone via Samsung’s SmartThings app and now have a very nice user interface to control the soundbar though somewhat limited to options as compared to the much more difficult to customize option of using the remote. That needs to be improved.
There are four speaker modes for the soundbar: Standard, Surround, Game and Adaptive. The soundbar defaults to adaptive and works fine in most situations. Surround is best for playing your movies and I found standard works best for standard TV programs, especially when the music tends to outplay the voices.
This soundbar has 16 different speakers with multiple channels to immerse you with 3D surround sound and with the right settings, accomplishes that quite well. It mounts on a TV stand/table-top or is wall mountable. From there you can customize how the 16 speakers disperse the sound to your personal taste.
The Q900T also supports Alexa, one-tap and a completely wireless connection via Bluetooth and more!
I highly recommend this soundbar and yes, the price is off-putting, but the performance is quite extraordinary. In my opinion this soundbar can become the audio center to a small home theater for not only watching TV and movies but also playing music.

I assume the switch can be turned on/off manually as well. But when you’re away from the switch and want to turn on remotely, does the switch have to be in the on position? Or does the remote signal (WiFi) connect to power when it calls for it?
Yes, it has a manual, lighted button to turn it on and off, like all Wemo products. When using the app, or auto controls, it doesn't matter whether you have turned it on or off manually. The app and/or the automatic settings will then take over. And you can override those with the manual button anytime you want. This switch gives the use maximum flexibility.
