To me it's better than an internal SSD

I would recommend this instead of an internal SSD, especially for a PS5. With the console shortages, if something goes wrong, you're going to be out of luck. Yes, it can take up to 30 minutes to back up something or upload it, but I think the wait is worth the piece of mind.

Really enjoying this. I believe the issue many are complaining about with getting the PS5 to display 120 fps in the output settings has more to do with the PS5. I don't own a 120 fps game and it sounds like you need one for it to be reflective. The Series X is much more user friendly at this, and it displayed 120 fps without an issue.
The HDR leaves something to be desired, but that's to be expected with a monitor. The graphical fidelity of having a "small" 4K screen on my desk is really nice.
For the price, I wouldn't mind even poor speakers build in. That's an important note to first-time monitor buyers ... no built in speakers. I'm sure most PC gaming veterans know that, but if you're buying this for a console like me, make sure you have headphones.
The firmware update was a pain in the butt. It failed at 16 percent upload numerous times from my USB. After resetting the monitor to factory settings, the it uploaded after two more tries.

From time to time, the sound gets jumbled. The soundbar says it's switching from Dolby Digital or whatever to standard. It's quite annoying and I must change the channel to reset it.

Failed promises

Dear Sony rep,
How about your employer actually put out a firmware update that addresses this issue? I've had this device for two years and it still cuts out when I change the channel because it's detecting the format. It's obviously a defect in the product! Troubleshooting is no help. A simple Google search of this product brings up countless users having the same problem.
