This is my second G1. Made the mistake of going with a Sony A80j after getting a 55g1 for my family room and had to return and get this one it doesn’t even compare. I had several sony’s in the past but LG has my oled cents from now on. Even old movies seem new on this tv with not much tinkering!!!

I have this and a G1 and for some reason it’s nowhere as near as the reviewers have stated. The hdmi 2.1 support is worse than even the nano90 it replaced. None of the features that they advertised over c1 seems to be working as expected.
Apps on this set like plex, and other similar don’t have access to lossless audios pass through Dolby atmos , dts x and it down samples the sound.
Image on my 55 g1 is leaps and bounds better and I haven’t calibrated. I’m changing my 65 a80j for a 65” G1 as soon as Best Buy gets back with me.

I have a standard switch console and 2 switch lite for my kids; will I need to get 3 copies of the game or can they all play with one copy? I recall that on the Nintendo DS you could have multiple player connected while only one had Mario Kart.

Which HDMI port should I be using to connect to my cable box? Should I be using port 3?
HDMI 3 and 4 are hdmi 2.1
If you have a ps5 or Xbox you can plug to these
I don’t think your cable box needs features from hdmi 2.1 so it might be safer to use ports 1 or 2.
Also if you have a sound bar or sound system and want to use arc function you need to use port 3 for that
