I had read reviews and they were pretty mixed. This seemed like some sort of reboot or re-telling. It seemed to get completely away from the comics saga. Also, where the heck was Wolverine? ANY Wolverine?? Not bad, but even with today's advanced CGI, I'd have to say X-Men 3 got it "more right".

Phoenix is committed (maybe a little to much) to the character ... but it just seemed like some kind of "alternative universe" Joker. Video looks good but, due to the bleak landscape, doesn't quite pop like other 4k discs.
