Zagg is a pretty good standard. That said, they do break and the warranty process may not be worth the wait. We have had three or four and every one has cracked. The first warranty attempt was not accepted for a 5s. The second warranty attempt for a 7 plus has not arrived after several weeks of communications with zagg. In a pinch I ordered a multipack from amazon for less than the warranty replacement and had them next day. I bought this one on sale for a max. Hmm

We bought the UA case for a new max after having used otter box products for years. It’s a better price point and it does not seem to have breakable additions like the OB. However, it has gotten really hot during general uses. Even overheating the phone and causing a shutdown. We shall see.
