Great value for these two films. Worth the price for Arnold's silly commentary track alone. A/V is decent. "Destroyer" still has that strage glow to it, but it's passable. Still the goriest PG movie ever. Little known fact...that's Andre the Giant as the horned monster at the end. He wasn't credited for whatever reason.
Can't go wrong for 15 bucks!

NO HDR (link for replacement HDR disc in review)

Amazing film and the transfer is what it is. Funimation are mailing out replacement discs WITH HDR in February. The disc included here does not feature HDR for whatever reason.

Doesn't "power my dreams"...

Does everything it says in the description except...and I quote, "power my dreams." It's the whole reason I purchased the console. I mean, the games run terrific, but my dreams unfortunately are stuck in last gen. All those flops were for not. If you're only using it as a gaming console, then you have reason to be excited.

The noise cancelling alone just when you put them on your head while powered off is amazing. Turned on? Oh my goodness. Fired up the "Blade Runner" vinyl and quickly had my mind blown. The Sony Headphones app is great and easily allows you to connect to devices, update firmware, EQ and more. I would give this an extra star if I could.

Perhaps my second favorite steelbook art...
Huge audio/video upgrade. Picture is incredible and fans of the film will be blown away. The HDR use is some of the best I've seen. Just an all around great film to make you feel good during all this craziness.

The standard bluray already looked amazing, and this is even better. The HDR use is well done, and Christine herself is the reddest thing I have ever seen. Can't go wrong with the price and steelbook. Check this out if you haven't seen it. One of Carpenter's best and Keith Gordon deserved an award for his performance.

Having watched this movie a billion times in the 80's, and as someone from coastal MA, this disc blew my mind. The Dolby Vision from previous formats is...unreal. You could honestly pause any scene, frame it and then mount it over your fireplace. Must buy...100%. The steelbook is great as well. The picture shown doesn't do it justice. In your hands, it looks great and has a cool finish to it.

Much like the rest of the world, I did not like this movie right away. Upon viewing it again...it wasn't thaaaaaaaat bad. It's Star Wars in the year 2020. It is what it is. As for the transfer/extras...top notch. If you are a fan...you will not be let down.
