This has been a great multifunction printer. Every once in a while, software updates would change the way the scanning function works and I'd have to figure it out. My volume has been greatly reduced with my workload in the last 2 pandemic years. Today I have the first mechanical/electrical problem after 5 years. I will either be replacing a printhead for the first time ever or getting a new printer. I've certainly gotten my money's worth.

TOO BIG FOR MY CIGARETTE LIGHTER RECEPTACLE!

The part that goes into the cigarette lighter is TOO BIG around! I couldn't believe it. I've got a 1997 Toyota Avalon. I bought this for my Magellan Roadmate 1470. The part that goes into the GPS fits just fine. So disappointed. I'm sure Best Buy did not know this. It is going back.
Last time I got a universal car charger from Best Buy but without the dual USB, it worked just fine. I'm now wondering if NEWER cars have a larger lighter receptacle.

It has multiple pockets both inside and out plus file separators. I use it instead of a brief case nowadays. And sometimes instead of a purse. I stepped on one of the zipper pulls and haven't spent the time to figure if I can put it back on. I never use it for a laptop anymore since I use a tablet.

I only need a black cartridge HP-952XL. Will the printer work with this cartridge without the other three (cyan, magenta, yellow)?
No. You have to have all of the cartridges in place. Most of the HP printers, though, have a setting where you can specify that it's ok to just use the black when the colors run out. I can't remember where that is but it was a popup when the colors ran out on one of my HP printers.
