I waited for a few months for Otterbox to finally produce the Otterbox Defender case for the new IPad mini 6.
As a matter of fact, I wouldn't even buy the IPad mini 6 until Otterbox made this case. I only use Otterbox cases. I don't trust other cases to protect a $500 item like an IPad mini 6.
It fits perfectly. I love knowing that I can throw it into my backpack, and not worry about damaging it, etc. I also like how they no longer put a built-in screen protector on there. I'd rather put my own on, as the old Otterbox cases were notorious for getting dust and / or moisture stuck between the screen protector and the screen.
I am definitely happy with the new Otterbox Defender Pro case for the new IPad mini 6! It will make a nice display for my Mavic Air 2 drone!

Many complaining that the Home Screen keeps showing up when you power it on.
True, but that can be easily changed under your settings to “Last Input”. That way if you’re using a Roku for example to watch cable TV, each time you power on the TV it defaults to your Roku / HDMI input.
I hooked it up to an inexpensive and small Insignia sound bar, and the sound is wonderful. If I could give any of these companies any feedback, it’s a great TV, but please don’t put the sensor right in the middle of the bottom of the frame. When the legs are on the side, such as the ones on this unit, that’s where most people would place a sound bar. I had to place pieces of wood under the legs so that my sound bar didn’t interfere with my remote and / or block part of the bottom portion of the picture.
That being said, I got it at the sale price, so I’d say the value is pretty good. I use it for a kitchen TV.

I've had a few Roku including the 2021 version of the Roku Express 4K+...
This one is much faster, snappier, and I love that you can plug in a solid ethernet wire into the read so you have a constant, steady connection, and not worry about wifi connectivity issues.
I snagged one on sale for $69 for my main 50" 4K Samsung QLED, and used the Express 4K+ on the cheaper 720p kitchen TV.
This is definitely worth he additional money if you need one for a main TV. Like I said, much much much quicker and responsive.
BestBuy N Canton walked it out to my car before they even opened (extended curbside pickup hours) which made it even better :)

It’s the most expensive Apple Watch, but also the best one. The SE was nice, but had a noticeably smaller screen, and I kind of wanted the Always On Display that the 6 and the 7 series have.
In addition, the battery lasts a little longer, and I liked the Nike band that came on this model. Saved me some money on getting one after the fact.
What really surprised me was how good this watch makes good old fashioned phone calls. The call quality is impressive and it’s so much more convenient than holding an iPhone 13 ProMax in my hand. Lol

Got it on sale for $59. It plays Blu Ray DVDs, and there is a YUUUUUUUGE difference in clarity between a regular DVD and a BluRay. I honestly don’t think the jump to 4K is worth the difference in money, as the price jumps substantially when you go up to a 4K DVD player, not to mention the cost of the movies.
I like that it has an Ethernet port so you can use it as a Smart device, and also update the firmware, etc. Very handy.
I had originally bought a regular Sony DVD player, but exchanged it the same day, and paid an extra $20 for this one, and it was definitely worth the upgrade.

This was on sale for $24.99 ($15 off), and the reviews were pretty good, so I went for it.
I have to say that it's every bit as good as the overpriced Apple TV ($150 or more). It's snappy, very responsive remote / app, and awesome picture on my 50" Q60A Samsung 4K TV.
I only wish it could be programmed to run my JBL sound bar when you hit the volume key on the side of the remote. I tried. It won't work.
Other than that, it's a solid purchase at that price. Very happy...

QLED 4K 50 inch….most bang for the buck!

I’d say it’s the most bang for the buck when it comes to a 4K TV. I got the 50” to mount above my fireplace coming from a 43” 1080p TV, this was a YUUUUUUUGE improvement. It’s super thin, super lightweight, and those blacks are….black!
I especially love how it upgrades the 1080p signal. 95% of the time, that’s what you’re watching, assuming you’re watching the average cable TV signal. It looks very sharp. The colors and tones are amazing. I didn’t use the sound, as I am using a JBL sound-bar and subwoofer for audio. So I can’t comment on that.
But everything else on this QLED 50” 4K TV is outstanding. Including that rechargeable / solar remote! Definitely a great deal @ the Black Friday price…

This 28" 4K by Samsung is one of the sharpest computer monitors I could find. I tried going cheap and getting the "2K" 32" version by LG, but when reading text on the screen, the text was blurry and actually caused eye strain. I had to return it, and went with this monitor instead.
This is much much much clearer, and the colors are spot-on. I really like the design, the modern-looking stand, etc.
BestBuy made it easy with their wonderful and convenient curb-side pickup. They brought it out to my truck on a busy, windy, and cold Saturday afternoon, making it easy for me to get in and out within minutes so I could get home and mount it.
I have it connected to my M1 Mac Mini, and it looks great. Again, super happy.

Help keep your screen protected with the Insignia NS-MAX13LGLS2 Tempered Glass Screen Protector for iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 13 Pro Max, and iPhone 12 Pro Max (2-Pack). I think the 50" QLED is the way to go. Huge 65" TVs show more flaws in the picture, and tend to look kind of gawdy in a small room. I don't think a lot of people see it that way.
Love the Ambient Mode feature, although I wish you could use a flash drive of your own photos instead of the sample pics they offer. That definitely should be changed next time.
At $649 I thought it was a pretty good deal. Very happy with it.

I love this TV, but as an amateur photographer, I would love to be able to upload multiple photos so that the Ambient Mode function turns into a slide show instead of simple being able to display one photo constantly. It appears that it's limited to one photo. Am I correct?

I know the 9th Gen IPad isn’t full of the latest greatest in technology, and it APPEARS to be the same as the 8th Gen IPad, but…
It has a new front facing camera with Center Stage technology….a faster processor, and a few other updates including more memory. And….they price matched Amazon so I got mine for $299.
I couldn’t justify the additional couple hundred bucks to go with the mini 6 or the iPad Air. And call me old, but I love the simplicity of the traditional “Home” button.
I think I kind of stole it @ $299…

The Bella Pro Series 2-qt. Touchscreen Air Fryer is disguised as compact air fryer. However, after using it for three weeks I discovered this versatile air fryer is an efficient counter top appliance, which enables healthier cooking for Grandma and me. I can Air Fry, Broil, Bake, Roast, and Reheat with little or no oil. And, the best part is that healthier air fried foods are just as tasty and delicious as if they were deep-fat fried. How cool is that?
This Bella Pro Series air Fryer is a cut above the rest of the Bella Houseware Kitchen products and is designed for higher performance. It is made of mostly plastic with a non-stick coated steel frying basket and crisping tray. The frying basket has a 'cool-touch' handle, and the body of the whole unit is finished in finger print resistant, matte black. It blends in with all of my Kitchen appliances and the bottom of this unit has four rubberized non-skid feet to keep it stable. It is lightweight enough to be portable and I often move it about on different places as needed. My counter tops are heat resistant. The manufacturer suggests placing this air fryer on heat-resistant work spaces in order to avoid counter top damage. This unit pulls in air to circulate over the 1200 watt heating element in a circular vent at the top of the unit. Heat is exhausted out of the back of this unit so the manufacturer suggest to keep a four inch clearance from walls or other objects during operation. When removing the frying basket it is important to place it on a heat-resistant surface, or trivet because it will be hot.
Advantages of this Bella Pro Series 2-qt. Touchscreen Air Fryer:
* Healthier cooking using little or NO oils whatsoever. Air Frying is the new approach to reduce cholesterol and polyunsaturated fatty acids in cooking oils. Again, I am amazed at how tasty air frying is and good for my health too. YooHoo!
* Quickly cooks vegetables, meats, fish, and poultry without preheating. Holds up to to two quarts of volume. Enough French Fries to serve my four Grand Kids when they visit and want a snack. WoW!
* High performance circular heat technology. Distributes heated air flow for faster cooking. It cooks the foods more evenly and makes them crispier too. YUMMY!
* Responsive and easy to learn Touchscreen Controls. Preset functions with preset temperatures and times. However, the time and temperature can easily be changed manually at any time during the cooking process. By using the marked Up & Down Time and Temperature arrows both Time & Temperature can be decreased, and, or Increased. This is important when cooking foods, then pausing to shake, and or, turn the food items half way through the cooking process. I can easily tell when I need to add or increase the temperature or time.
* Safety features include the pausing of the preset cooking choices when the frying basket is pulled out of the air fryer. The cooking process will resume immediately when the fryer basket is installed back into the main body. The unit will Not cook if the fryer basket is NOT installed. The unit can be turned OFF by pressing the Power Button for two seconds. After 60 minutes this unit will automatically turn OFF and sound an audible tone.
* Care and Maintenance is NOT complicated. The frying basket and crisping tray are easily cleaned in my Kitchen sink with soapy water, and. by hand as I prefer. They can also be put in the Dishwasher, but I think they last longer if cleaned by hand. The main body of this Bella air fryer can easily be cleaned with a damp dish cloth.
* Be aware there is a learning curve to the process of air frying. Pausing the cooking process half way through the presets is very important. I can easily determine if I need to continue with the same preset Times and Temperature, or, if either one needs to be changed. The Bella Touchscreen makes this a simple adjustment.
* Tips – Placing a piece of aluminum foil under the crisping tray makes clean-up much easier, especially when air frying, roasting,or broiling fatty meats. Make sure the 'shiny' side is facing up. It reflects heat much better under the crisping tray. Try re-heating foods in this Bella instead of your microwave. This Bella reheats foods more evenly and thoroughly. Love It!
* This Bella Air Fryer is quite an energy saver compared to my conventional six cubic foot oven. The Bella only uses 1.2 KW, while my conventional oven uses upwards to 4 KW and takes much longer to preheat and cook. The Bella is fantastic in comparison.
I highly recommend this Bella Pro Series 2-qt. Touchscreen Air Fryer. Me and Grandma are amazed how quickly this unit prepares our foods in less time then it takes to preheat my conventional oven. We were very skeptical at first because healthier foods aren't supposed to taste this good, or are they? Buy a Bella Air Fryer and find our for yourself . This unit is ideal for a couple, or family of four with two small children. This Bella is inexpensive, and may actually pay for itself over time compared to using your conventional oven. Makes a great wedding, housewarming, or just a special gift to that particular person or family member on your list.
