I have VERIZON FIOS TV service. Due to a recent FIOS outage I am looking for a backup antenna in the event of a future outage. Will this work on my Insignia TV that has FIOS TV service? Will it require disabling the FIOS cables?
All you need is the antenna outlet free on the tv to hook this up. If it is currently being used you can either use the FIOS or this antenna.

Is this antenna better than the old style rabbit ears antenna? Is it worth it to switch to this one?
Muy beuno.............of course this is better and less unsightly than rabbit ears which have to be constantly adjusted for most channels.
