My 6.95" Garmin works with the mount and does not slide around on the dash. The base is flexible and stays put. It sticks to almost anything but pulls off easily - leaves no sticky stuff behind. When in the car it sits on a dashboard cover, in the motorhome is sits on a bare dash. In either case it does not slide.

This is a nice mouse for a relatively small hand. It feels good and has good controls. It has a nice wheel for scrolling up and down and left and right clickers that work very well. It feels good in the hand. I use it all the time, and that is a lot. And the price is right.
The mouse lasts about 3 years before starting to be a little cranky, but I get a lot out of it and go buy another one.
