Jack Marrowbone and his younger siblings, Billy, Jane and Sam, move to an old, abandoned manor in a remote rural spot of America after their mother's death to prevent this type of separation. Over time, they make a home for themselves that they feel offers safety from past hardships. Jack even begins to let himself fall in love with a young woman named Allie. Everything seems to be going well until a seemingly evil force forces them to reveal horrible secrets about how they came to live at the estate.
