Throw this in with install

Made sense to have this thrown in with my install. If you purchase a dryer with a steam feature, add another pack of these. If your dryer is far from your washer, you need extended length too. My dryer and washer are kitty corner with the wash basin and water heater in the corner. I didn't have an extra hose kit or extended hoses available so the install guys couldn't hook up the steam feature of my GE dryer.

Raise your GE dryer or washer to a comfortable working level. The built-in drawer offers simple access to detergent and other laundry accessories. Stainless steel ball bearings allow easy gliding for storage drawer. You can easily install your dryer or washer because all installation parts are included with a pedestal.

I purchased two, one for each washer and dryer. They are very large and offer a lot of storage space for your laundry room.
If you are having them installed, make sure you check for the divider in them before the installation guys leave. I couldn't find the divider for one and caught the guys before they left. They had to come back in and tip the whole washer forward and reach up under to dig the divider out for me.

Not happy with scheduling

I purchased a washer and dryer on August 7. First available delivery was September 16. That date came and I had sold my old washer and dryer and prepared my laundry room for installation. The appointment was confirmed by email and phone. Install window was 7am to 1pm. No one showed up or called. At 1:30 I began calling corp best buy and the store where I purchased. There was no explanation at all for why my products never came. I was told I could reschedule and given a date of October 27!
I called corp Best Buy again later in the afternoon and the lady I spoke to by some miracle got me an appointment the following Monday. The two delivery guys showed up and my wife was here alone initially. She explained that they would have to being the washer and dryer around the back of our townhouses through the backdoor. One of the guys was very short with her and had an attitude about having to bring the appliances around the back even though there is a paved sidewalk and that route makes it a lot easier than trying to maneuver them through the house. After I arrived home, the guys seemed to develop a better attitude. Installation was completed without any further issues.

Good looking and easy to use

I purchased this washer and the matching dryer. I love how it looks and it has a large capacity. I did a lot of research and settled on the GE due to the venting door and the SmartDispense detergent system.
My biggest issue/complaint is the delivery of the product. I purchased August 7 and the earliest delivery was September 16. That date came and I had sold my old washer and dryer and prepared the laundry room for delivery. Deliver was confirmed by both email and phone. The deliver time window came and went and no one showed up. Not even a phone call. I called Best Buy and they had absolutely no explanation as to why my washer and dryer weren't delivered. They told me I could reschedule and gave me a date another month and a half away! I called best buy again a few hours later and by some miracle, the lady I spoke with got me a delivery date the following Monday.

Great looking and large capacity

I finally got this dryer delivered with the matching washer after a month and a half of waiting. The dryer itself is beautiful. It seems easy to use and has a large capacity. We've had some issues with some of the cycles stopping and displaying "check filter". There is no issue with the filter or the exhaust hose so I have to call and find out why this is happening.
