Really enjoyable for a first viewing!

I was probably too young when this movie came out to see it in a theater. I had always heard of it, but it wasn't until more recently that I finally watched it.
Overall, as someone who does not get into Fantasy and doesn't really enjoy LOTR, I worried I wouldn't be able to get into this. Then I realized this was filmed in REAL locations, and had fun special effects. Of course it could be done better today, but for 1988 this was quite impressive!
Val Kilmer, who I enjoy in most movies, is the best of the bunch here as Madmartigan. His future wife is here and she's a beauty to behold. Willow, played by the guy who was the Leprechaun in Leprechaun, is also well done. The movie is a little episodic but that can easily be forgiven.
If you love 80s movies like I do, please buy this one!

Broke on me just after a year

This is probably the 2nd blu-ray player I've had that crapped out on me after a year. This had a decent price, and decent reviews, so I went with it.
I watch dvds/blu-rays periodically still. I don't know what was wrong, but after awhile, this wouldn't even register that a DVD was in it! It wasn't recognizing just one disc, but every disc I put in it!
I learned you get what you pay for. I upgraded and bought a slightly more expensive Blu Ray player that so far is working. Don't get this one.

Cute little 80s movie that starts off with a bang, but ends with a little bit of a whimper. Two college dudes go off and find a stripper to be able to join a fraternity, end up with an annoying Long-Duck-Dong Asian kid, and head to a bar with vampires as strippers.
I'll admit. At this point it seemed so cool and fun and i loved the grainy look of this movie. It was so good watching something with no annoying CGI effects every 10 minutes. My oh my how filmmakers were more creative back then vs today!
Unfortunately this movie runs out of steam by the end. You'll find yourself checking your phone or just plain not caring by a certain point. Worth buying and a fun vampire flick, but probably not for the masses.

Fun Game for Horror Lovers like me

I never had a Nintendo GameCube but I remember with Luigi's Mansion came out. It sounded pretty cool, and I always liked Luigi more than Mario (don't ask me why). When I saw I could play this with a Switch, I thought why not?!
It certainly takes awhile to complete but it is a fun and cute game. You basically are Luigi walking around a mansion sucking up ghosts in a vacuum like device. There's more to it than that, but it's fun to explore, knock things over, break things, etc. At the end of each level, you get an elevator button for the next area and it's so exciting when you get to that point.
As for its repeat playing, I haven't done that yet. I seemed to complete it once and haven't returned to it. I will replay here soon now that I think about it. May not be as exciting as a regular Mario game, but it's challenging and takes a bit. If you are looking for a game that you will be playing for weeks or months, this is it!

Days of Thunder - Cole Trickle (Tom Cruise) is a young, cocky hotshot with little stock car driving experience and a lot of raw talent. Trickle's uncanny ability to make all the right moves on the racetrack wins him the backing of Tim Dolan (Randy Quaid), who wants to put him in a car. Eventually he wins the support of grizzled former driver Harry Hogge (Robert Duvall), a NASCAR legend who sees that Trickle has the potential to be a great driver. Determined to make it to the top, Trickle develops a healthy rivalry with veteran racer Rowdy Burns (Michael Rooker). Along the way, he romances Dr. Claire Lewicki (Nicole Kidman), a beautiful neurosurgeon. Hogge's mentoring (and a potential tragedy) leads Trickle through the dramatic process of self-discovery, which ultimately makes him a better driver. Directed by Tony Scott, DAYS OF THUNDER is reminiscent of his TOP GUN, the film that rocketed Cruise to stardom. Scott uses spectacular driving and racing scenes in this film, which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Sound.

Top Gun Meets NASCAR

Outside of the newest Top Gun flick, this is probably my next favorite Tom Cruise movie. And honestly, this movie is basically Top Gun at Nascar.
I watched this movie while flying to Hawaii (8 hour flight) and it was entertaining and passed the time quite well. It had a great cast, great characters, and a fairly entertaining story (of basically Top Gun at Nascar). Oh how I miss the days of these early 1990 movies. NO CGI!! Great effects!! Why can't movies be made this way once again? I liked the grainy feel of this flick over the glossy ones of today.
If you want a good Tom Cruise movie when he was almost on top of the world, you won't want to miss this one. I'm sure Suri Cruise likes this one too ;)

Many use a laptop, phone, or tablet instead of printing things out on paper. Because of this, I don't print as much as i used to but I'm amazed at how often I have to replace this. Maybe the ink freezes up, I have no idea, but I'm not sure I'm willing to keep paying for these at this price much longer

I had been hearing about air fryers for quite awhile but never bought them. I was always microwaving food. I saw this for a decent price and great reviews on Best Buy.com so I went for it. Not only is this so easy to use, but it is so easy to clean too! I have only used the Air Fryer part thus far, but I'm using it at least 3x a week. Totally worth it. Ninja Foodi is without a doubt the way to go.

I had been wanting to see this, and after it was unavailable on streaming I just decided to buy it. I love a good 80s movies. They're so relatable (probably because there's no annoying CGI like in movies today). This had a great story, great actors, and a decent plot. I used to see movies like this on our local channels on Saturdays and Sundays all the time. I'm glad I finally got to watch it. What a fun trip down memory lane.

I was watching a show and suddenly the volume cut out. Never to return. How do I get sound back through my sound bar?! I tried rebooting, turning tv off and on, no luck.
