An incredible 4K release of this 1990 action classic! There have been some complaints about picture imperfections here and there but unless you're a very nit-picky cinephile you won't notice. This is the best the movie has ever looked. Colors and sound pop! Love the steelbook artwork as well. Very recommended!

'The Last Starfighter' ('84) is an age and era defining classic. Possibly the zenith of post-Star Wars sci-fi before the decade began moving away from this kind of sincere, fantasy adventure. I adore every aspect of this film from the early '80s setting, the thrill of cabinet arcade games, the "call to adventure," Catherine Mary Stewart in pig tails, robot clones, intergalactic bounty hunters, Craig Safan's powerhouse film score, to the cutting edge early CGI. It's all awesome to me!
Arrow Video does it again by releasing this definitive 4k transfer of director Nick Castles classic film. The video quality is incredible with great shadow contrast, rich detail and a warm cinematic feel with film grain intact. The audio is fantastic with three options (5.1, 4.1 and original 2.0). Plus packed with several special features and gorgeous new packaging. For any true fan of this movie this release from Arrow is a must have. No question. This is the best the film has ever looked. Highly recommended!

Directed by Special Makeup Effects artist Stan Winston, 1988's 'Pumpkinhead' is a masterclass in design, lighting and staging of this iconic vengeance monster. Lance Henriksen gives a fantastic, heartbreaking performance as a man wrought with grief who summons a demon and immediately regrets his choice. Awesome movie!
This brand new 4k transfer from Scream Factory is gorgeous! The Steelbook Packaging is awesome as well. I highly recommend this release. The definitive version of this crazy cool film.

Excellent release of these two immensely entertaining films. The first film is a classic but the second film gets a lot of flak. But I don't care, I enjoy the hell out of both these flicks. Picture quality is excellent. ID4 has more film grain than the much later sequel but a beautiful image all around. I also like the slim case for both films that saves room on my shelf.

I bought this only because I'm a John Carpenter fan. But it's not one of my favorites of his work. The blu-ray transfer looks good; very film-like retaining a lot of grain. Cool cover and overall release from Shout! Factory. A great title to add to your Carpenter collection.

Arrow has released a sublime presentation of one of my favorite movies, Paul Verhoeven's 'ROBOCOP.' As far as I'm concerned this is the definitive release of this film. This is not a 4k release but it can't get much better than this. Absolutely gorgeous and packed with extras.

I love the SteelBook cover design! The movies all look fantastic on blu-ray! I absolutely have to give this set 5 stars based on my adoration of 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' and 'Temple of Doom.' However, the discs are placed inside stacked on one another rather than on a hinged section. I'm not a fan of this method but it will work fine.
