Best iPhone ever

To be honest, I’m upgrading from a iPhone 11 pro to the iPhone 15 Pro so the differences are huge. Of course, the form factor is the same, however, The processor, features, functionality and camera are a huge upgrade. There’s just so many little things that this phone does better. It’s hard to put it in one review.
So far, the most notable improvement is the camera and its full suite of features. Not only does it take better pictures right off the bat but the post processing and editing is huge. It can do so much to mitigate unwanted, lighting or shadows and bring out desirable quality in the photos. In fact, I’ve had to watch several YouTube videos from Professional, photographers, and videographer to highlight all features. I probably won’t use most of it what this phone and camera can do but you can do so much to its potential with post processing editing. One interesting and amazing features that now because of the iPhone 15 Pro USB-C change, you can connect it directly to a small hard drive where your photos and videos can get sent directly. And from the drive, you can plug into your Mac and access to edit directly.
Another huge improvement is the processor is approaching Mac level of processing power. This might be most notable if you game on your phone.
I do think the action button on the side is a good improvement and I love that you can assign it to different tasks or apps.
As far as the heat that some reviews have noted, I have only experienced a couple of instances where it got a little warm for brief periods, but then resolved quickly. Not sure what to make of that yet.
If you’re thinking of upgrading, and you have an older iPhone like I did, I definitely think this is worth the upgrade

Made from carbon fibers, the AudioQuest record brush gently reaches into the groove, pulling out dust and dirt that would otherwise snap, crackle, and pop through your speakers. Don't let those little intrusions turn into big interruptions.

Great Wi-Fi enabled lock

Coming from an older Yale lock model, this lock is been a major upgrade. I’m very happy that I chose this. First off the older lock model had a touchscreen, but was made of glass and was scratched up from repetitive use over the past 4 1/2 years. Additionally, the lock was not Wi-Fi and could not connect it to the HomeKit or an app if I wanted to unlock the door or check to see if the doors were locked.
The Yale Assure Lock 2 with Wi-Fi solves all of that. Removing the old Yale lock and putting this one in was very simple. Much easier than I thought it would be, and probably had a lot to do with the similar sizes that the locks require for the door. It was very much a matter of using a screwdriver to remove the old lock, and then putting in a few screws for the new lock.
After the lock was properly installed the connection to the app and set up took about 5 to 10 minutes. Connecting to the HomeKit was very simple after that as well. All in all, took about one hour.
Using the lock for the past four weeks, I can say that the lock has performed very well. I have not had any issues using the lock or the app or connecting to the HomeKit. I I do like the keypad as well is that it’s not a glass surface that will get scratched, but more of a rubberized surface that looks more resistant. This has been a great product so far. I highly recommend it.

Perfect, cordless vacuum!

We’ve had several cordless vacuums over the last few years, and probably went through about four or five of them, including two shark vacuums. They never seem to last and they always seem to lose suction no matter how well you take them apart and clean it.
So decided to spend the extra money and get a Dyson cordless vacuum and boy am I surprised to discover the superior suction of the Dyson. The construction itself is superior to other brands. The different settings in different suction strengths give you different options for the cleanup job. I find that even on medium setting. It did a great job. The vacuum is easy to take apart and clean. Only downside and I’m not sure this is one is that you have to hold down the trigger button to keep it powered on. Thought this would be more of an issue but it’s really not.
I should’ve spent my money on a Dyson in the first place and I probably would’ve saved money instead of replacing multiple cheaper vacuums. I highly recommend it!

I have owned several iPads from previous generations for myself and my family. However, the 10th generation iPad is definitely improvement over the previous. I appreciate the iPad. Getting rid of the home button and incorporating fingerprint ID into the power button. I think that upgrading tech is pretty amazing and not sure how they did it in that little button. I found it very useful to use different fingers for the fingerprint ID depending how I was holding it. Great upgrade.
The overall iPad size is the same but the increase in screen size is a great upgrade. The home bar at the bottom of the screen works just like an iPhone and I found it to be an improved function over the previous generations. In fact, that’s why I got this iPad which was due to my prior iPad home button getting stuck after 4 1/2 years of use.
I find the speed and graphics to be improved as well and love how smooth the iPad functions between apps, and web surfing. To me, it was worth the extra expense for this iPad over the previous generations models. Overall highly recommend.

Good Soundbar to Improve over the TV speakers.

I bought the soundbar to improve the TV speakers over a recent TV purchase, which was an TCL with Roku. I bought this thinking it would be a natural fit in some ways it is, other ways, but doesn’t work as seamless as you think. Namely, the Roku sound bar has its own Roku interface, separate from the TCL Roku. And it kind of forces you to use that for the set up. Although you can get by it and then just switch and use the TVs Roku, the redundancy I found annoying. Once you get over that I’m able to pair and use the sound bar seamlessly with the original TVs remote and also the Alexa fire cube remote. You just have to stop using the Roku sound bars, remote otherwise it will switch over to that Roku application.
Now, for actual use, I thought the sound bar did improve the TV quality and had several modes that enhance the viewing. I switched to dialogue mode which amplified speech well or movie mode, which gives you a little more of a surround presentation. One interesting thing the soundboard does do is that you can pair it with other Roku speakers to give you more of a true surround experience albeit wirelessly. It will not replace a true home theater with an, AV receiver & quality speakers but it can get you started at a affordable price, simply, and without running speaker cables.
One negative that I experienced was the sound bar wi-Fi stopped working and would not connect whatsoever. I eventually had to get a USB to ethernet dongle to hardwire the sound bar so it could maintain a connection. Not sure how common of a problem it is but it is a negative.
