Reliable Brand Continues to Perform

Ever since the switch from rolling ball to optical laser-controlled mice, I have purchased them from Microsoft and have never been disappointed. I write this review in part with a decade+ old wired, optical mouse. This bluetooth mobile mouse is no exception. It features easy set-up, nice laser response, a very comfortable grip, with snappy clicking, and a responsive scroll wheel. A perfect mouse to pair to a laptop with a poorly implemented touchpad.

Gorgeous Video in the Original 4x3 Aspect Ratio

An early staple of the Disney Afternoon block was Chip 'N' Dales Rescue Rangers. The reimagining of the classic Disney characters as leaders of an A-team-like organization to solve mysteries and problems. It was a very fun show. The video is quite amazing compared to the old DVDs. Purists may want to pick this set-up instead of relying on Disney+ to watch it as the image is cropped on the streaming service, but in its original 4x3 aspect ratio on the blu-ray set.

I have been wanting to play Persona 5 for years, but it seemed every time I was near to pulling the trigger they would release a new version of it. First there was Persona 5, with a TON of paid DLC. Then they released a revised version called Persona 5 Royal, yet curiously ALSO with tons of paid DLC. Finally released for PS5 is the definitive edition of Persona 5 with better graphics performance, all the DLC included for free, and packaged in a very pretty steelbook case. If you have been wanting to play the acclaimed RPG, this is the version to get.

Not a Lot of Content

While Apple TV+ does have some good content the main weakness of the service is that it is all Apple originals. Most other streaming services are a mix of content produced exclusively for that service and a mix of other older content licensed from movie or TV studios. In 3 months of only light viewing I had watched almost everything I was interested in like the available seasons of Ted Lasso, Mythic Quest, Severance, and a few of their exclusive movies. This was after the service had been going for 3 years already so I can't imagine how thin the content must have been in the beginning.
If you are thinking of subscribing I would certainly not recommend purchasing a large block to start with, 1 to 3 months would be the most I would buy at a time when trying the service for the first time.

Great Alternative to the Pricier Brands

My father had been looking into replacing some older bluetooth speakers as they no longer functioned with some of the newest operating systems. He had been looking into some more expensive bigger brand ones when I offered to do a little digging for some other options. I came upon this Sony portable speaker that seemed to review well and was much cheaper.
Having heard them in person they are quite nice and there is no distortion as long as you are not cranking up the volume to max on the device itself. You can also easily pair 2 together in order to get stereo sound. There is also a strap attached which allows you to hang and angle them to project the sound/music across the room.

I first had an iPhone so when I decided to replace by aging HP tablet I wanted one in the Apple ecosystem so I wouldn't have to start over from zero. You can populate your iPad with ads from an iPhone back-up which cuts drastically done on set-up. This model is a very nice balance of low price and features for everyday use like watching streaming, reading emails, or browsing the internet. About the only thing I don't like about it is the stiffness of the power button. I hope that won't become a problem later in the life of the device.

Unfortunately this game controls exclusively through the playlink app, which means you cannot use a dualshock 4, only a compatible android or iOS device. Playlink would be a nice additional feature for those who don't have multiple controllers, but it would be nice if it was an option, not a requirement.

The open world racer Burnout Paradise is back. I had a lot of fun with the PS3 version and this remastered offers a lot of extras and tweaks. First, it includes all the DLC that was released for the original version including a new areas of town, Big Surf Island, as well as a great variety of vehicles. The framerate has also been bumped up to a steady 60 FPS and all textures have been improved.

Slightly above average Marvel Film

The Marvel films vary quite a bit in quality. While not one of my all time favorites, it is still good. Having everyone so split up for the majority of the picture sometimes kills story momentum as they jump from place to place across the galaxy trying to keep all the story plates spinning. Some of these side adventures, like the trip to the forge, were not at all interesting.
