The first re-iteration of IT was amazing...This totally ruined it. This movie isn't scary, it's just annoying. The CGI Pennywise demon was laughable rather than scary.
Get a copy of the first one, watch it. If you like it - stop there.

It's just different than the first one. Not better, different.
Bought this and the first Equalizer when they were on sale. I'd never seen either of them, but heard good things - plus Denzel is usually the same character in ever movie, so if you don't hate him, you'll be OK.
Turns out, he's the exact same character as any movie he has with a train that's out of control (he has a lot of those train movies for some reason)...anyways, he's just like that and John Wick smashed together.
Great film, pleasantly surprised. And I watched the first one, this one was equally as enjoyable yet totally different, which is good for a sequel. Worth the dough.

Sooo check this out...I'm 40 years old. That means this movie came out at the prime time of my life where I should've been watching it daily...well...at 40, I finally watched it for the first time. Maybe I was waiting for the gorgeous 4K transfer and killer audio for 34 years...

What a great film. Like a grown up and really violent version of Labyrinth (with David Bowie). This movie sucked me in. Loved it...but, don't say I didn't warn you about the violence if you're not into that...there's a scene with a wine bottle that is in the top 5 most brutal movie scenes I've ever seen...it's great!

The one camera move thing in this movie is pretty rad. Well, it's rad for about 15 minutes and then you kinda forget about it. Unfortunately, in my opinion the movie itself is just sort of meh. Not enough character development to really care much about them. Check out Hacksaw Ridge if you wanna be blown away by a war movie.
All that being said, this isn't a bad one or anything, it's worth watching, just not my favorite. Dude on the cover seemed to enjoy it tho, and I'm not on the cover...soooo make your own judgement call.

If you like suspense/dark comedy...this is the way to roll. Like you, I was a bit nervous about watching a subtitled movie, especially in the theater. But I'm glad I did. This movie is the shiz.

Wow...this thing looks amazing! I was a huge fan of this movie when it was in the theaters...bought the dvd and bluray...didn't think it could get much better...but I was wrong. The 4k transfer is Dyn-o-mite.
