I don't know what happened, Sony usually doesn't have any problems. Took the receiver home hooked it up, played a cd, then it shut itself off after 38 minutes, wondered what's up, felt the the top of receiver and it was hot, very hot. Unhooked it and took it back to Best Buy with no problems, but was afraid to get another one. Very disappointed!
