it's a touch-screen laptop with a 10th gen i5 processor, which is plenty fast. 8GB of ram and a 256GB SSD are on the small-ish side, but will only really matter if you're doing editing of huge photographs or movies. It has a 10-key on the keyboard which most 15.6" laptops dont't.
For the money, nothing else came close.
The only negative is that the shell collects dirt easily. Small negative though.

Is there Recovery on this if it gets lost?!
I'm not 100% sure what you're asking here, but I'll assume you're asking if this has recovery software on it that helps with lost data. There is software on it, but its intention is to automatically copy data that might be on your main computer drive or any other drive you have connected to your computer. You basically pick the folders that you want to be backed up and it will automatically copy those folders and their contents onto this drive. If something goes wrong with this drive, causing you to lose the data on it, there isn't anything here that will recover that data.

Does this come with Word, Excel and PowerPoint? Or does this need to be purchased separately? When I add it to the cart it asks if I want to purchase these. I thought these were automatically included. My last Dell computer had them.
It doesn't come automatically with them. I think that the Office icon on the taskbar enables a 1-month trial, then you'll need to purchase it. They're trying to get you to sign up for Office 365. Office 365 is a subscription, so you'll need to re-up the subscription once a year. The full version of Office is not called Office 365. I think the latest is Office 2019. You only have to buy it once.

Would I be able to use Microsoft as well as with Google Suite?
Yes, but you'll probably need to switch Windows out of "S" mode. It's pretty easy to do, but I recommend that it's the first thing you do after the initial setup. DO NOT connect it to a managed network before you do this or it might get a lot more difficult. Home networks are fine, but no school networks or business networks until it's out of "S" mode, or else you'll have to go through some pain to switch it.

This computer should have no problem with online college or MS Office. It's quite fast with the processor and SSD. 256GB is enough for most purposes, but it can run out of space if the user puts a lot of games or High-Def movies on it. 8GB of RAM is fine for most purposes, but editing large files like very hi-res photos might slow down a bit. 99.9% of users won't have that problem though. It should run some games, but it's not specifically a gaming laptop. Should be fine for light gaming, but you won't be able to run the latest games smoothly with the graphics options cranked up.

Is it compatible with a gamer laptop Dell G7 7700?
From a technology standpoint, yes. It's much thicker than a standard M.2 drive. Those RGB lights make it pretty thick. I put it into a desktop PC, but I'm not sure it would fit into any laptop. I don't think there's a way to remove the RGB lights without actually breaking it.
