'Kingsman: The Secret' is another great choice to be one of the first Ultra HD Blu-rays. This post-modern deconstruction of the spy franchise is brutal, bloody, and a blast from start to finish.
As an Ultra HD Blu-ray, I would argue this HDR 10 4K presentation bests its Blu-ray counterpart in every way. Resolution is sharper. Colors more vivid. Gradients smooth.

The sci-fi drama takes on a new life on Ultra HD, powered by an excellent and beautiful 4K presentation that offers a nice improvement over its Blu-ray counterpart despite Rob Hardy's gloomy, atmospheric cinematography. It also features the same complex, somber DTS:X soundtrack and the same set of supplements as before.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is a great superhero film and perhaps the best Spidey film to date.The emotional tone is spot on throughout, has a good message, and is packed with some great action sequences. The villains are layered, while the hero struggles with his own demons, and the script is polished with great jokes and heartfelt conversations. Its colorful character and lust for violence make it unique and one of the most uncompromising visions in the super hero genre out there today. Add in a performance by Nicholas Cage that is actually memorable and not just off-the-wall crazy, and you have a film that's sure to be a gem in any superhero lover’s collection. Pair that with a transfer that has its issues, but is a big enough step up from its 2010 counterpart and you have a solid, recommend 4K Ultra HD release.
