Good movie but BB needs to do better

Something new for Best Buy with two Steelbook designs trying to get collectors to buy more and increasing the price to match. Overall good movie but a bit too long. Loses a star due to BB price increase for these exclusives and shipping almost a week late even though pre-ordered over a month in advance.

Great Presentation for Lost Boys

First off, why only 4 Stars? Two reasons, while the 5.1 DTS-HD mix is great, really needed to have an Atmos mix to fully bring out the movie. Second the price, don't need to have such high MSRP on these catalog titles. Apart from that, the best presentation of a fun guilty pleasure of a movie.

I was waiting to upgrade my Blu-ray of Roger Rabbit when a 4K release would finally come out. Glad I waited. The Atmos audio soundtrack is a good one. Not too aggressive but provides an expanded sound stage. For me, it was the colors of the movie that benefitted the most.

I previously only had the first Underworld movie in 4K and was glad when this came out. Great price for an amazing set of 5 movies. While personally, the first 3 are the best, all are presented well but it's the audio in Dolby Atmos that really is impactful. Recommended.

A great Scorsese and DiCaprio collaboration and even better steelbook. The video is an improvement on the previous Blu-ray release but took off a star since they didn't upgrade the audio to Atmos or DTS-X and just ported over the DTS-HD MA track.

The Final Cut of One of the Greatest of All Time

First, I'll state Apocalypse Now is one of my all-time favorite movies. From the opening scene to the end, whichever version of the movie I'm watching will grab my attention. While I do have the 4K version with multiple copies of the movie available, I had to add this version to my collection. The introduction by Coppola sets the stage and a Best Buy steelbook completes the deal. Audio, visual and the director's preferred version make this a must have addition to the collection.

While the movie may be divisive in it's content, you can't deny it's cultural impact. The 4K Best Buy steelbook represents the best release yet of the movie. Noticeable picture improvement is the main upgrade on this release. The only knock I would put against it is the audio. While the DTS-HD 5.1 mix is adequate, I always prefer a Dolby Atmos or DTS-X soundtrack on 4K releases but with a movie this old, I wonder how much improvement it would have added.

Another fantastic MCU 4K Steelbook

I missed this in the theater so was waiting for the 4K Steelbook to come out and watch it. To date, I have all the Best Buy MCU steelbooks that have come out and it had been awhile since I had done a blind buy. Always enjoy a little more back story for major characters and this delivered. I was hoping for a US 3D release as there were elements that you could tell would have been great to see but the audio and video was top notch as usual. Enjoy this addition to the MCU.

Best Presentation of a Game Changer Movie

I remember watching Shrek for the first time years ago and just counting the jabs at another animation powerhouse. Enjoyable, original movie that is now in glorious 4K. The clarity of the animation is matched by a great DTS X soundtrack that gets some good height action in the mix. Combine with a steelbook that arrived in perfect condition and you have a winner.
