Writer-Director Wes Anderson creates another unique world that's both a feast for the eyes and ears. With an all-star cast and interesting tales to behold The French Dispatch is definitely worth a watch. Although it's not quiet as memorable as his previous films, I did enjoy this movie and was happy to add it to my collection.
Tobe Hooper's horror classic that presaged the InchsplatterInch genre was based, like InchPsycho,Inch on real-life murderer Ed Gein. With Marilyn Burns, Edwin Neal, and Gunnar Hansen Leatherface; opening narration by John Larroquette. 83 min. If there was ever a feature film that deserved the 4K treatment it would most definitely be The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Tobe Hooper's terror tour-de-force can now be experienced like never before with shockingly sharp picture and sound that will deliver audiences a more horrifying intensity that it did back in 1974.
It's the most beautifully traumatizing motion picture ever made an it must be seen in 4K!

I had a great time re-watching The Waterboy! This time it was on Blu-Ray where it looked and sounded better than ever. This classic comedy had me bellying-laughing throughout its runtime. They don't make comedies like this anymore and it was wonderfully fun to see it again. If you're a fan of Sandler, comedies, water, or the foosball, then be sure to get a copy of The Waterboy!
My only criticism of this Blu-Ray release is that there is not a single Special Feature on it. Was hoping for some deleted scenes, bloopers, or a commentary track.
Short on cash and with no callbacks coming, Nicolas Cage (as a fictionalized version of himself) readily accepted a million-dollar appearance payday for the Mallorca birthday party of worshipful olive tycoon Javi Gutierrez (Pedro Pascal). Though quickly learning to enjoy the arrangement, it goes south when Cage is tipped by the CIA of his improbable fanboy's insurrectionist activities-and is expected to help take him down. Self-satirical action-comedy co-stars Tiffany Haddish, Ike Barinholtz, Neil Patrick Harris. 105 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English. Two-disc set.

I was charmed and delighted with The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. Nicolas Cage and Pedro Pascal look like they are having a great time in this funny feature, and I certainly enjoyed watching them get as goofy as they can with all of the hilarious hijinks happening haphazardly. This is truly a fun watch, especially if you enjoy Cage. It doesn't quite analyze him like I wish it would have, but it's still a fun time!
Reassigned to the isolated hamlet of Beaverfield, nice-to-a-fault forest ranger Finn Wheeler (Sam Richardson) was just getting to meet the eccentric locals when the town was slammed by a blizzard. Turns out all private generators were sabotaged, and that someone-or something-is brutally picking the residents off. Paranoia mounts (as does the body count) in this semi-satirical shocker based on the VR game; Milana Vayntrub, Glenn Fleshler, Catherine Curtin, Michaela Watkins, Michael Chernus also star. 97 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

I was intrigued by the premise and was surprised by how much I enjoyed this frighteningly funny flick! It's more of a "Who-Done-It?" than a horror movie, but I was fine with that. It's got plenty of twists, turns, and hair-raising reveals that I can't recommend Werewolves Within enough. Oh, and I never played the video game so I have no comparisons to make; for what it's worth.
In the Pacific Northwest hamlet of Raven's End, town mortician Montgomery Dark (Clancy Brown) finally got a taker on his InchHelp WantedInch sign when inquisitive young Sam (Caitlin Custer) came knocking. Challenged to share tales of his grisliest cases over the decades, the unnerving undertaker obliges... but are either he or his prospective hire what they appear to be? Astonishing anthology also stars Jacob Elordi, Ema Horvath, Sarah Hay, Barak Hardley. 108 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

I'm a huge fan of Clancy Brown so I jumped at the chance to see The Mortuary Collection. This anthology film is filled with horrific tales that are shocking, scary, and frighteningly fun! This is definitely worth a watch during Halloween.

Napoleon Dynamite will always be one of the funniest movies ever made. It's just so crazy, hilarious, and odd that you can't help, but laugh at this indie gem. The whole cast, especially Jon Gries as Uncle Rico, are unbelievably funny with their awkward sincerity. It's always hysterical, endless quotable, and constantly re-watchable.
What's sleazy con man Teddy Murretto (Frank Grillo) to do, what with maniacal professional killer Bob Viddick (Gerard Butler) hot on his trail? Murretto's plan to get himself arrested by decking a rookie cop (Alexis Louder) so that a small-town Nevada police station will provide some protection spectacularly backfires when Viddick lands in a nearby cell and another hit man (Toby Huss) shows up on the scene. Frenetic actioner co-stars Ryan O'Nan. 108 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

"Copshop" has a fun premise of criminals hiding out in a local police station's jail, but there's always more going on than meets the eye. Writer/Director Joe Carnahan lends his unique storytelling style to this claustraphobic crime story. Gerard Butler, Frank Grillo, and Toby Huss are all in rare form here. And Alexis Louder is wonderful as the rookie cop caught in the middle of this bullet-riddled blood feud. This thriller didn't quite live up to expectations for me, but it was still an entertaining watch.
Jason Blood, once a mortal man who lived centuries ago, was bound to Etrigan after the Demon was summoned by none other than the wizard Merlin. Jason was rendered immortal and granted the ability to swap places with his demonic counterpart upon saying the magic words. Though Jason has tried many times to exert his will over Etrigan while he is transformed, the Demon is too powerful to be completely contained. Still, more often than not, Etrigan, despite his nature, is interested in the greater good~even if his motives and methods remain suspect.

This Demon action figure looks amazing! It's a great get for any fan of this classic DC character created by legendary Jack Kirby. I like the articulation so I can pose it however I'd like. Although, it has a tough time staying up on the display stand. Regardless, it looks cool and is a "must-have" for fans.
Remember those adorable baby alligators that your parents flushed down the toilet years ago? Well, one of them fed on dead animals that had been injected with a growth formula, and now he's a 36-foot-long maneater on a rampage under the streets of Chicago. Can a local cop (Robert Forster) and a reptile expert (Robin Riker) stop the carnage while there's still time? Gut-grabbing horror thriller co-stars Jack Carter, Henry Silva; script by John Sayles. 90 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack English.

An enormous alligator is on the loose and only one man (Robert Forster) can stop it! Alligator is cheesy cult classic fun! And this release from Shout Factory/Scream Factory is loaded with special features. And the best part is this monstrous movie has never looked better! This release has some serious bite!
